Stupid spelling. Not my fault. Gammers and Hammers. *hides in shame*

Author Reply: Heh!

Glorious! I am lost for worsds. What a boot, Larner, you outdid yourself on this one. Gaffers and gammers, oh my. Gaffers and hammers, oh my. Gaggle of Dwarves! I'm agog and giddy by your gift.

Author Reply: It was fun! Heh! Thanks so, Agape!

Great! Every hobbit child knows that G stands for Gandalf :-)

But I also like the gaffers and the gammers.

Author Reply: Oh, yes--the ones that live in Hobbiton and the Tooklands know that! (And it was fun to work in the gaffers and gammers--we little old folk ought to get our say in as anyone. Heh!)

Gandalf and Gerontius! What a great friendship that was! :) I do love the gaffers' and gammers' reactions, especially that "Glory be!" *giggles*

Author Reply: Well, with G as the letter of the day, the gaffers and gammers sorta hadda be there, don't you know. Heh!

Great generational gander. (Gosh! These responses are getting difficult but I just makes my admiration grow.). I loved how you still managed to stay close to one of your core themes about Frodo.

Author Reply: Tolkien himself indicated that Frodo was basically fading into the background, and that Sam felt this wasn't fair, considering all Frodo did in hopes of protecting the Shire and all.

You have given me many a chuckle, you know, with your responses keeping on-letter as you've done. Thanks so!

Ding dong, the goons are gone! I love "G". :)

Author Reply: Am so glad you do! Now, if I could only get caught up on reviews....
