Long have I needed leisure from the laying on of dark tales. Light and lovely.

Author Reply: As it was intended to be! Heh! Glad you like it!

“Ooh, I like this one,” Melian declared.  “Short and lovely and so sweet!”

I like it as well :-)

And I learned a new word: limning. I have never seen it before.

Author Reply: Oh, am glad to add to your English vocabulary. A seldom-used word indicating the light that outlines a ridged shape, usually the crest of a wave. From "illuminate."

There can only be one review for this one...
Lovely, Larner
Also sort and sweet. But then I am a girl.

Author Reply: As am I, of course. Heh! Thanks so, Liz.

And yet, it is Eldarion who is named 'Scion of the Eldar', being a son of all three houses of the Edain, all three houses of the Eldar (and from both Elu and Olwe's folk, for the Teleri), and with that streak of Maiarin blood, faint though it may be! Heh! Of course, Melian shares the same heritage (and her Maiarin foremother's name) but one would think Eldarion would appreciate the Awakening of the Elves!

I do so love this book! :)

Author Reply: Oh, but what do little boys care for the mushy stuff? Heh! Thank you so!

Lovely, luminous, and yes, very lady-like. :-P

Author Reply: Yes, enough to call to the soft core of a girl's heart. Heh! Thanks so, PSW!
