| Interesting! I also think that Finduilas would have moved heaven and earth to keep Denethor from sacrificing Faramir, had she still lived. Whether Faramir would have obeyed her rather than his father/liege-lord is another matter. And the idea of Denethor dying young and Boromir becoming Steward at a young age, coupled with Faramir's disobeying him to follow a dream to Rivendell, is fascinating. | |
