| I like your idea that Marcho and Blanco were twins :) Author Reply: Tolkien left so much scope for the imagination! I thought about whether they might be cousins, like Sméagol and Déagol, or Merry and Pippin. But the idea of twins kept popping up in my brain, and so I finally went with it. | I'll look forward to reading these! Oh my, I remember Marigold's challenges very well. What a Golden Age of fanfic we enjoyed. ♥ Author Reply: Those were certainly the days! Those challenges kept me writing during hard times... or hoping to write, at least. Along with a wealth of reading material to enjoy. I got derailed in writing the rest of this drabble set, but (like the other WIPs I've been working on) I have not abandoned the idea. I hope to finish the set sooner than later.
