It`s good to see Pip awake! I hope Merry both finds his watch (maybe he should ask Pip?), gets some sleep and that Pip and Diamond gets things sorted out. And what is it excactly Estella has found? Off to read more...

Author Reply: Heheheh, you may be right about the watch only time will tell on that one. Estella's information is coming soon so if you read on, you shuld learn everything. Thanks for reviewing and reading.

More Pudding! LOL!

Author Reply: You know what they say, "The proof is in the pudding!" In this case, that might just be the truth.

I'm glad it was in his pocket, and not just a side effect of the berries! It is good to see Merry and Pippin back to normal with each other.

Author Reply: I just had to do it that way. Couldn't pass up a chance to visit the Twilight Zone in favor of a drug-induced dream. The berries may have been Pip's E ticket to the Zone just as Merry's was the Brandy, but I do like to think that they did go! It's just me.

Poor Pip! What a burden to undertake when he was already stressed about his new position anyway. Thank goodness he was honest with Diamond.

Author Reply: I couldn't let him lose Diamond and I have always suspected that Pip would not be a very good liar. He blurts things out too quickly to have thought them through so I can't imagine him being very good at lying.

A second set of books! Intriguing! I wonder what in the world has happened? Off to read more and hopefully find out!

Author Reply: Let me know what you think once you do find out.Wondering if this works the way I think it does.

very inteesting story. Nice touch having Pippin having Merry's watch. Have you given any thought to expanding on the blackmail issue? Which board member, etc? I for one would like to read more.

Author Reply: With the watch turning up as it did, I thought it made things more interesting. It gives it a fantasy feel.

I have left this kinda open for a second story, but it will take some sorting out. I was playing with the idea, but at present it is only a rough idea and will need some more work before it can get under way. I am so glad that someone else sees room for a 'part 2'.

Excelent story. I loved all the little twists and turns. Pippin at sixteen was priceless. You also did a good job of keeping his "crime" under wrapps till just the right moment.

Great fun. I really enjoyed it.

Connie.

Author Reply: Thank you! This one was fun to write and it couldn't stay serious for long. Glad to know that the crime came out at the right moment as those things are so hard to judge, especially as this was a very different type of story for me. So relieved to know that someone liked it. Thanks for leaving a review!

Excellent story! I enjoyed every minute of this tale--you *do* have a great, and wild imagination. But isn't it fun? :-) I had a somewhat humorous thought with the berries--I mean, it would seem funny to us, anyway. Instead of the drug pushers that we have today, think of the horrific problems the hobbits of the Shire would have faced! Imagine a down-and-out Pippin--strung out on cloud berries and standing in the shady corner of the Tuckborough market. A disheveled and unkempt Fredegar, with red berry stains still on his hands, steps into the shadows begging Pippin the berry-pusher for just another handful. Oh, I'm soooo bad. I'll stop here!

Take care,
Pippinfan

Author Reply: Now here's an interesting plot bunny! I guess I could do a second one and having Pip get hooked on 'the berries'. LOL Your image is priceless! And you included Fredegar which I love! He only got a mention in my recent story, but looks as if you have a very dramatic role coming up for him in the future as a junkie! I wish I had the nerve because the possibilities are unlimited! Also, then Paladin wouldn't have to take all of the blame in the next story.

Thanks for the wonderful words and this very funny review! A great way to end this one, with a review that makes me laugh way too much! Keep em comin'!

Oh I love the twist of the watch! So cool!

Author Reply: Thank you. I do enjoy believing in magic and the mystic from time to time. Since my stories steal from a great work of fantasy, I thought why not use that? A little escape from the real world is always nice.

*Heavy sigh of relief*! Poor Pippin! lol...and now Estella can stop snooping! That darned Paladin; an adventurer and now an embezzeler! So unnatural--and illegal! ;-)

Pippinfan

Author Reply: Yes, no matter how I try, Paladin seems to get the blame for all of the bad behavior in my stories. I owe the hobbit an appology and a big thank you as without him, there could be no drama.
