Angst! Torment! Don't leave us hanging now, I must find out what happens! This is an excellent chapter, and I'm so releived that they're out of the chimney. Interesting, that they were pulled up the flu. Author Reply: LOL! For some odd reason, I had that idea from the beginning - don't ask me why! I am pleased you are enjoying it and I will happily post the next installment as soon as I can.

Arrrrhhhh!! I love this soooo much, but this cliffy will be the death of me. Hope this has oodles of chapters so I can read it until Im sated. (not possible, btw) tree Author Reply: I learned the art of the cliffhanger from the mistress of them - Budgielover. hehehe And I hope this has enough chapters for you! I couldn't make them too injured because they have a wedding to go to in a month! In any case, there are many opportunites for angst left in the story - and I will never be out of good bunnies...

Phew, they're out! Elves and dwarves are handy characters to have around in a pinch. If you can't get a Sam. But Frodo and Merry do seem a little the worse for wear. Author Reply: Yes, they certainly are! Though I'm a hobbity sort, I can appreciate both an elvish aire and a dwarvish arm! Thanks for reading!

I'm enjoying this fic! And the hobbits are nicely in character. Author Reply: Oh, thank you! It is so great to be appreciated for something I pride myself on!

"Though his dear master had come through trials the like of which would have killed even most hobbits, there were still times when he seemed as delicate as china cup; fragile and too fine for everyday. He seemed to possess that quality that made you stop and stare at elves, but in a hobbit it seemed even more rare and precious. Not even dear Mr. Bilbo had seemed so otherworldly. " Oh, there's my bright one. I still love him after all these years. I hope this is a nice long story. You have an awesome touch with Frodo fics and a whole lotta talent for telling a good yarn. Thanks for posting Chapter Two, and I'll be watching for Chapter Three -- if we're on our way to Ariel's h/c heaven then we're just getting to the good part as far as I'm concerned! Author Reply: *eek* Oh, dear! Well, I wrote it as a 5 chapter fic - and it could have been angstier - but I had things I wanted to have the characters say and think that were... um... tough for them to do while prone! But rest assured, I have LOTS of angst bunnies left - and seeing the response this one has gotten, will HAVE to resurrect a few more of them!

This is a good, no great story! Merry and Frodo trapped in a chimmney in the White City, wow. And the way you left us, was no fair. Please write more soon! :D Author Reply: I most certainly will. And thank you for your very encouraging review! I aim to entertain and from the response I have gotten for this fic so far, it seems I have. It's a great feeling knowing that!

Oh dear! First Merry and now Frodo! Poor Sam who had been sitting right there! And to have seen Merry hauled out of the chimeney already in such a dire condition. Looking forward to more, and finding out how much they both have been harmed. Author Reply: Well, the do call me the Angst Maven for good reason...hehehe! Thank you for continuing to read!
