:O Oh! I LOVE BOROMIR! I love this one the best, I think! I love it when big strong men are gentle and loving. : ) ::sigh:: Now I see where Faramir gets it from. :D Author Reply: Thanks, Dayna! I've loved writing strong/gentle/noble Boromir ever since "Avalanche". The Fellowship travelled a long way together, and I'm sure they all did what they could for one another.

I really like how you did that, Shirebound. I love seeing Bilbo/Frodo interaction, with a side of Gandalf! LOL! :) very sweet. Author Reply: Thank you! I had such a wonderful time writing "Quarantined" (with Bilbo, Gandalf, and Aragorn as caregivers) that I had to revisit the idea. Gandalf does love 'his' hobbits so much, but rarely shows it outwardly.

Hello shirebound! As always, I am transported by your wonderful world of hobbits and valiant Men. I just love shirebound-land. I love this ficlet, but I have a question: why is it movie-verse? I am puzzled . . . Love and hugs, esamen Author Reply: I thought I'd better label it "movie verse" because, in the book, Frodo wasn't "still recovering" from the Morgul wound when the Fellowship started south. His stay in Rivendell had done wonders for him (and for all the hobbits). As I recall, he didn't feel any discomfort in his shoulder again until they well down the Anduin. Thank you very much for reading.

Aw - all these are great Shirebound. A heap of hobbits but not random! I just want to be in the middle! And you had my mouth watering at the thought of bananas. I am diabetic and I find that they send my sugar levels far too high so they are now a rare treat in any shape or form. Author Reply: Thanks, harrowcat. Who could resist a 'heap of hobbits'? (And perhaps you'll donate your spare bananas to Frodo? Apparently he's quite taken with them.) :D

Awww...These are all lovely, but this one is adorable. I bet if I made some of *my* banana bread, Frodo wouldn't have resisted it. Then again, Pippin would have made off w/the loaf. Of that I'm certain. :oD Can't wait to read more!! Author Reply: Thanks, Tigger! Yes, I doubt the hobbits could resist yummy banana bread. *runs off to make them some* :D

Bless the King! and his banana, too! Author Reply: Behold the King! He can handle any challenging situation, large or small. And handling a stubborn hobbit is always a challenge. :D

“I’ll try to endure it,” Frodo said, his mouth full. He looked around. “Did you only bring one?” LOL! Stubborn as can be indeed, but his own words betray him ;-) Nice little story! Thank you, Shirebound. Author Reply: Thanks, Andrea! Frodo and Aragorn are well-matched when it comes to strong-willed behavior. They both got what they wanted in this little scene. :D

*grins* The last two remarks from Frodo are sounding very typical hobbitish - I think Aragorn has found *the*diet for Frodo! Loving bananas myself very much, I have enjoyed this! Author Reply: Thanks, Kitty! I can actually imagine *any* of the hobbits speaking that last line. This was fun. :D

How about a banana split? hehehe Cute piece, I like the stubborn streak there......he must have been an ornery little kid, what? LOLOL cheers Armariel~~~{~@ Author Reply: The hobbits would *never* leave Gondor if they discovered banana splits there! What a fun idea. :D
