Where the Merlin Cries  by Lindelea 93 Review(s)
TariReviewed Chapter: 12 on 2/16/2012
What a sweet chapter, as least to me it was. It's terrible to see how something like Rosie-lass saw could almost destroy her. Glad everthing was resolved most favorably.

Author Reply: Tari, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your thoughts! I just now saw them, but I do want you to know I appreciate you!

Am hoping to get the last few chapters up soon. Whew. Where does the time go?

I just had to tell you how much this elf is enjoying this story. I love the way you weaved the humor by way of a child into this chilling story. I'll bet the Hobbits are glad the Rangers protect the boundries of the Shire now.

If I were One-Eye, I wouldn't count my chickens before they hatch. He severly underestimates the Hobbits.

A far better bit of news than she'd expected, I'm certain. A double wedding to look forward to! Hope the girls are fine with it, of course.

Author Reply: I think the girls are more than fine with it... *g*

Thanks!

Sweet, and I find myself appreciating the Brothers El here.

This was a real eye opener for Fastred. Things were not as he thought.

I just found this story when you posted chapter 41, so I have a lot of catching up to do.

Author Reply: Belated thanks for you long-ago review. I just now saw it while fact-checking for a new story.

Good planning!

Ah! Awake at last and prospering. No, not likely that Sam would be granted the recipe for lembas, but there's no harm in merely asking, I'm sure. And all's well as ends better, which it appears will happen in Hargrost!

I've been reading several of your Thain stories lately and am falling quite in love with the universe you have created. Definitely looking forward to the next chapter of this. :)

Author Reply: Thanks for dropping a note. Always nice to know someone's reading and enjoying.

Young Frodo now has a far better appreciation of his father's great strength of character, now having a taste for what he went through, and he has chosen life. Ferdi appreciates what he has also, and realizes that although he might not be the Hobbit he was, he is yet capable of being something and will never be less than beloved to his Nell. And poor Pippin--he's been thrown back in time to the battle of the Pelennor! No wonder he's seeking to warn Aragorn of Southrons!

Now to see what comes next.

Author Reply: Belated thanks.

Did you make it through the hurricane all right? We had a little water in the basement and lingering problems with the drains, but otherwise ok. There was flooding in some parts of the city, but not nearby. But we heard quite a bit of rain fell in your area, and with winds at the Coast over 100 mph... whew.
