If I had a Hammer  by Grey Wonderer 13 Review(s)

Could we know why he doesn't want to sleep in a bed or are you just not playing fair? Hmm? I'd like to be on the safe side before I rack my brains (and all the prior chapters).

Author Reply: Answers are on the way I assure you. It won't be long now. I will be posting more this weekend. But if I answer your question here then I'll be giving away too much. This is one of those wait and see things. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!

No sleeping at night in a bed? Now he has ALL of us bugged! Poor Frodo--having to try to figure out what on earth is going through the young Took's strange little brain!

Author Reply: That's a tough thing to try and do even for Frodo. Somebody needs to get busy and think like a Took! More soon and thanks for reading!

Oh my goodness, GW, this is so intriguing. I am wracking my brain to figure it out.

Merry's dream seems very ominous. This is what? Third time? Fourth?

I love some of the little details you put in. I adored the image of Pippin asleep with his head in his cousin's lap, and the half-eaten apple falling from his hand. Such a very vivid detail.

Looking forward to more.

Author Reply: I've seen that happen when a person falls asleep with something in their hand and as they relax they drop it. Also I could imagine Pippin falling asleep while trying to finish off all of those apples that he insisted on bringing along. Glad you liked it. More on the sleep problems before too long!
