A special thanksgiving offered, and again the scene from the movie recalled, overlying the book story. They are not as they were; yet are even more themselves in the end. Author Reply: I love that scene in the Green Dragon movie-verse and always think that Frodo did have a lot to be thankful for amidst all that he has lost. All the hobbits grew at the end and i just find that so profound...just kind of reflects Tolkien's perception of what war and battles do to young soldiers...

And this one surprised himself by becoming a Hobbit warrior indeed, in spite of his expectations or those of anyone else. Love to see Boromir appreciating the Hobbits. Author Reply: I like moments in which hobbits and the "Big People" understand each other a bit more; especially when it involves appreciating and understanding one another more. :)

Very movie-verse, but a delightful moment anyway. I so love Rosie Cotton. Author Reply: I really love Sam/Rosie too! i think they're a sweet couple and Sam so deserves someone like Rosie. :)

Other than that the eyes of newborns tend to appear blue for a time before they become the color they will have most of the child's life, this is wonderful. Author Reply: Thank you so much!~ =)

The desire to be certain the other side was well and happy and fulfilled must have been terrible for both sides to bear at times. A lovely birthday you've given the two of them. Author Reply: Thank you very much! i'm glad you liked this. :) Indeed, memories are what keeps us going sometimes when our loved ones have passed...
