His master had not given up. He had given his last strength of will and body to fulfill his task. Sam could do no less.

Beautifully written.

Author Reply: Le hannon, my dear! Glad you were able to able to wade through all the angst. :)

Ps: I think it's so beautiful how much Frodo and Sam believe in how much better of a person the other is. I imagine that if it was me and my best friend in that little story with the chair situation we would end up make-believe karate-chopping eachother's limbs off.

Author Reply: Thanks for your two reviews! They continue this argument in several other stories too. :) I like the idea of one chair for the both of them, as they share the same heart and soul anyway and besides, I doubt Sam would remain in his seat without Frodo making him and that may be more difficult to do if they each had their own. :)

Plot twist: there was another chair there the whole time and they could've used both xD
I'm not sure if I'm the only one who just starts laughing when they picture their faces once they realize the chair I put there in my imagination was simpler, but I hope I'm not alone.

How both needed one another at that moment. Healing has come to her, and now she eases the way for his as well.

Poignant.

Author Reply: Glad you enjoyed it! I firmly believe God does not allow evil without good coming out of it and even if Celebrian had to wait 500 years to discover the good, it still came.

But in time as she wrapped her spirit around mine
And spread her light around my darkness

What an utterly lovely piece of writing. You swept me away into the joy of Frodo's healing, and Celebrian's part in it.

Author Reply: Le hannon, my dear! So glad you enjoyed it! I do hope it was something like this. :)

Namarie, God bless, Antane :) *hugs you and Celebrian for any part she played*

So difficult, trying to hold onto himself.

Author Reply: I'm so glad you reviewed, my dear Larner! I was afraid this little bunny was too strange for anyone to comment on. It was such a dark AU too, what if they had made it to the Fire but the Ring was not destroyed? Sam knew they had to stay in Mordor until it could be but his poor master was now mad because Gollum had tried to force it from him and that was too much for Frodo to bear as he already knew it would be. So dark but love ever there too - light in the black night.

We know Frodo experienced prescient dreams--and we know this one came true. Poignant.

Author Reply: It's an ache to know that but I wanted to explore a little of it. He was and is a very interesting, gifted, and blessed hobbit.

He was just a simple man. It was these small beings who deserved royal treatment.

There's such gentle love shining through this story.

Author Reply: Thank you, my dear! Had fun with this one. Glad you enjoyed. *hugs*
