Dreams of Gold  by Lindelea 23 Review(s)
LarnerReviewed Chapter: Prologue on 3/16/2006
Now, what a way to awake, bringing to mind immediately the memory of Moria and Gandalf's fall with the Balrog. The idea Gandalf's fall to his apparent death was lit by the Balrog's fires is a horrifying one, btw.

Now, who's abducted him, under what circumstances, and where's he being held?

Author Reply: Yes, the image haunted me too. The details of the abduction will come clear over the next couple chapters. (There aren't that many chapters in all, either, so there won't be long to wait.)

Goodness! Now if *that* isn't an intriguing beginning!

Author Reply: Hope it continues to please.

Oh! And you stop there! This is too exciting. *paces impateiently wanting more*

Sorry. This is a wonderful start and I do want more. :D Is it Pippin or perhaps Faramir? Where is he? What has happened?

Author Reply: You are a very perceptive reader! The prologue could be either, or both (one mirroring the other), but Chapter 1 makes it clear. (at least, I hope)
