| A-hah! So this is the story that made you asked the question about possible causes of explosion in the Shire. Very promising beginning! I especially like the part when Bilbo and Aragorn talked and the hint of potential political alliance in the subject. Impressive. And Aragorn turned out to be more than just a healer, is he? He seems to have the gift for veterinary practice, too. :) And I also like the part where Frodo, Bilbo and Halbarad talked about Tooks and the possibility that Frodo is about to uncle Took-puppies. :) Author Reply: Yes, I really needed input about explosions (as you'll soon see)... poor hobbitses and Rangers! If these pups are half Took, they will be a handful.” “You’re half Took.” *giggles* This is like returning home to friends, a warm, delicious meal and roaring flames in the fireplace. The plot is intrigueing, the characters wonderfully famiiar and the pet as cute as ever. *smiles* This brightens my day - and I discover my heart for Halbarad more and more. | A lovely gentle beginning... I can see all sorts of complications arising once you start the action though! Puppies! Dwarves! Gamgees! Poor Aragorn, I almost feel sorry for him remembering how many ways we came up with for him to get damaged... Author Reply: Things are about to happen, I must admit! Yes, poor Aragorn. But he keeps coming back for more, so I think he must enjoy the attention and love. | |
