Oh. I like this idea, I'm looking forward to seeing more!

Author Reply: Thank you! There will be more - I'm concentrating on this story now. At least until my butterfly brain finds something else to attract it!

It is in writing like this where your skills really shine, Bodkin. The emotions, the description, the shadows and foresight are woven very poetically together to help us see these elves as real people, in real pain and in real love.

Your Finrod is good, but your Amarie shines. She is a shining example of patience and the meaning of real love.

Author Reply: I'm so pleased you like Amarie. I find I have the desire to view Middle-earth through female eyes. Aman, too! There is something about Finrod and Amarie that is rather special. Devotion and dedication - and honour and honesty and hope. And they deserve a happy ending.

This chapter was mostly written when I was on vacation in July - but I haven't got much further with it yet! But I will. It is now the focus of my attention. Well - except for work and tedious, but necessary, stuff like that.

OOhhhh! I just loved that,it was so good I almost cried, why do I never want the stories to end?

Author Reply: Thank you, Elflingimp, I'm glad you liked it - and there will be more of this, although it's only about four pages at the moment.

That's lovely, Bodkin. Finrod comes alive in all his guilt and honor. It's interesting to see Amarie, not quite wed but bonded just the same.

Author Reply: Thank you, daw! Finrod is rather a special elf, really. And I don't think he would have taken Amarie with him, even if she would have happily followed him. Too protective. Although Galadriel wouldn't let him get away with it!
