| I'm just crazy about this story, and hope there will be a sequel. I love the gentle hobbit h/c, Frodo's courage and protectiveness, and the wonderful contrast of the two very different scrolls. It's lovely to see Frodo and Pippin having a post-Quest adventure together. Author Reply: Thank you for reviewing here, too! I'm so glad you liked the story! I love to show Frodo's protective side--it *is* after all, why he went on the Quest in the first place, because there were people and places he loved and wanted to protect. Yes, I did kind of want to make a contrast there. I had thought of the Isildur scroll being there from the beginning, and then Pippin found the other one, quite a surprise to me--but I thought that it would show a contrast between the darkness of the Ring and the light-heartedness of humor.
