Your lady will come eventually, Pippin! :-)

Author Reply: Yes she will! :)

I loved this glimpse at the relationship between our favourite King and our beloved Pip - how perfect.

Meant to tell you so ages ago but my modem decided otherwise!

Author Reply: Thank you so much! I seem to be insatiable when it comes to gentle, hobbity TLC. :)

I really liked that....

I do feel much like Pippin did, everybody thinks he always skrews up and such, seems like me right now. i've already done a Pippin like thing today that i'll regret when i see my report card.....but this story put a smile back on my face

Author Reply: Thank you, Pippinsgirl. I'm glad this gave you a smile. :)

Poor Pippin, to start to feel like a adult, and then to have a small setback. I guess Strider would have a hard time being seen as a adult, being surrounded by much much older beings.

Author Reply: Aragorn and Pippin both had to prove themselves, didn't they?

"Then you will need to set a new goal, Peregrin Took," he said softly, "for you already have your king's highest regard."

Very nice.

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Ah, so you did post it! Hurrah!

(Am up sneaking a few reads, waiting for some codeine to kick in. Stupid cough. Only bright side is it gives me reading time I don't really have. But I'll be a wreck when this morning dawns.)

This is really a lovely picture between a Ranger-King and his young knight. I'm so glad you joined in telling the Tale. Thanks again.

Author Reply: I hope you start feeling much better soon!

Thank *you*, for inspiring such a lovely series. I'm sure the other contributors enjoyed it as much as I did. *hugs*

Oh, this story made me smile on this dreary day (it is gray and rainy outside my window and rather depressing). Pippin is my favourite hobbit character from the canon and I feel you got his character and personality down perfectly. And Aragorn was exactly right. This is definitely being bookmarked to read again and again.

Many thanks!

Edlyn

Author Reply: Oh my, thank you! Your lovely words are greatly appreciated. :)

I very much enjoyed Aragorn's kind regard for Pippin - not berating him for 'foolish' thoughts but responding to the Hobbit's needs. Beautiful in the telling, as always!

Pssst - I had not seen it before, so I'm glad you posted it here also.

Author Reply: I'm also glad I posted it; I had nearly forgotten about it until recently! So glad you enjoyed this. :)

I love this and it doesn't need to be part of a bigger story. It works so well on its own. Such a wonderful moment between Aragron and Pippin! I also like thinking about Aragron being watched over by all of those Elves! Now there's a plot bunny if I ever heard one. *hint*

Author Reply: Thanks, GW. I think this little visit did Pippin a lot of good.

That *is* a nice plot bunny! Can't promise to write it myself, but maybe someone else will get bitten... :)
