Oh Yes! THANK YOU Shirebound. One of my most favourite chapters - and posted just when i needed to read something like this. Do you have a touch of the Tookish Sight? Author Reply: I'm glad this was here when you needed it! :D

I've always found it striking how much size matters in Middle Earth. Hobbits, because of their small stature, are viewed by many humans as children - in spite of the fact that hobbits do not age at the same rate as humans do. It was surprising to me to discover that Frodo was not, as I thought, in his early 30s but rather in his 50s at the time of the Quest. Then again, Aragorn doesn't look half bad himself for a man who took the throne of Gondor at around 87 years of age. I thoroughly enjoyed this story, and I think I'll go from here to see where it was posted originally. It sounds like a wonderful tale. Thanks for posting this! Author Reply: I'm so happy you enjoyed this. It was a joy to contribute to Lindelea's tale. :)

Dear Pippin! I can't find more to say. It's great to learn that he isn't the only one who feels like a child at times :) Author Reply: I think hearing such a thing from Aragorn must have been very comforting for our young hobbit. :)
