| This was so so so lovely! The parts about the harp made me cry. It must be so wonderful and poignant for Elrond to see it again! The feels were just too good. | Yay, yay! I didn't think we would get to see Elrond w the harp, but I'm so glad you showed it! :-) I really liked this story -- all the beautiful scenery, and the singing (you don't often see the twins singing, I like that aspect of Elladan), and the whole underlying Kingly theme. | Sounds so beautiful -- I could just picture it all ... but on the other hand, I would love to see it for myself. I also love Elladan's singing throughout, as Tolkien wrote so much song into the Elvish existence. I kind of think it would be wonderful to live in a world where actual song (not on the radio, but real singing-type song) was an integral part of life. I also did enjoy seeing a touch of tween crabbiness from Frodo ... :-) Author Reply: Thank you so much for your reviews. It was such a joy trying to imagine all the sights and sounds of this journey. | This was a great chapter -- I really like your take on Elladan, as just willing to kind of go along with whatever and be a laid-back curiosity for a bunch of hobbits. :-P I absolutely loved "his speaking voice alone enough to make the serving maid sigh". :-) I can seriously just picture it... I'm glad things are going so smoothly for them, don't know if that will continue but it's been a nice trip for all so far. | |
