The Lion and his Lady  by Lialathuveril 71 Review(s)

A wonderful ending to the story, and worthy of both of them, considering how Lothiriel is in this story.

Just picked up "The Elephant Thief" and hope to get to it soon, once I'm finished with my current Nook book. Sounds interesting!

Author Reply: Thank you! I just felt like writing something lighthearted and this idea fit the bill.

And I hope you'll like Elephant Thief :-)

Oh, but so fun! First they dunk one another in the stream, and now he realizes that she is Imrahil's daughter and a minx as well! Delightful as they draw one another to themselves.

Author Reply: She's certainly a rogue ;-) But as you said, one that draws him in...

And a lovely ending to a delightful story.

Author Reply: Thanks, Wombat :-)

Make me number three, I love that last line! I believe this heralds the return of Lady Owl! That was the first one of these I found, and has long been my most favorite. Now this one shares first place with the other.

Author Reply: You're right, these two incarnations are quite similar, they even share a bird mask. Glad to hear you're enjoying it!

/Wheeze THAT LAST LINE.

Author Reply: She's as quick with words as with a staff ;-)

I absolutely love that last line :)

Author Reply: I was giggling away while writing it ;-D

When the final story appeared on tge site I realised I hadn't read any of them.
What a delight it has been to read so many different scenarios about the first meeting between Lothiriel and Eomer. You make them seem such opposites, but at the same time each is very stubborn. We know it's going to end happily but it's wonderful to read the misunderstandings, scrapes and dislike they seem to have to go through first!
I loved all of your stories and am sad that this seems to be the last.
Many thanks. X

Author Reply: Hi Kath,
you're right, somehow my characters always end up being pretty stubborn! And I like playing round with them, so I might well add another scenario at a later date. This particular one, for example, absolutely insisted on being written ;-)

Thanks for reviewing!

Now, THAT was quite the manner in which to meet the lady! And they each managed to upend the other as intended, I see.

Lovely!

Author Reply: I think they've both made a lasting impression on the other... but more next week!

Oh, but I see I must find "The Elephant Thief" next, considering how much I loved "The Bride of the Sun."

Impressing one another must have worked for the two of them.

Author Reply: Being honest with each other is always a good idea - and I hope you'll enjoy 'Elephant Thief'!
