Aw, sweet and very amusing! And I'm glad to find you posting a story after such a long hiatus! :) Author Reply: Hello Virtuella, yes, it's been a long time! Not that I've been idle, but mostly writing original stuff, not LotR. I hope you've been keeping well! Lia

ow, that was quite a different view of Lothiriel--rather sedate in her way, but patient with one who started out behaving like and idiot! Glad he straightened up for her. Obviously the staff realized she was a treasure before he did! Author Reply: Yes, for me the fun about these little vignettes is to draw different Lothiriels and Eomers, without getting bogged down in a long tale. This one is rather rougher than usual and as you said, she's more reserved.

They ARE well matched, the two of them! Glad the Riders cheered. They aren't going to treat her anywhere as badly as she might have thought. Author Reply: Yes, I agree. I'm sure she'll soon start to conform to Rohirric customs...

Not quite as artless as the last scenario, but still slightly naive. Loved the parallels between the story and the reality! Heh! "If I kiss you, will you turn into a princess?" No wonder she was smiling! Author Reply: 'Kalif Storch' was one of my favourite childhood tales, so it was fun to include that into a story of my own.

Ah! How delightful to see this lighthearted Lothiriel charming her betrothed with her letters! And I think I'd like Draug, although my own wolflings are only four and a half pounds (Brendi) and six pounds (Pandora). But, then mine are small Pomeranians rather than coursers. Heh! Author Reply: Hello Larner, how nice to hear from you again! I'd like to have a Draug (or something smaller) as well, but unfortunately it's not very practical when living in a city and working. But I remembered from my childhood days how destructive young dogs are ;-) Thanks for reviewing! Lia

Thank you for the lovely little vignette featuring my favorite pairing! I look forward to reading your upcoming story. Author Reply: Hello Salumil, as you can probably guess they're my favourite pairing as well ;-) Glad you enjoyed it! Lia

As you know I'm not a Lothiriel/Eomer lover -- solely a lover of your fine writing -- but I simply didn't get it. Should the mare have been a present to Lothiriel? And if so, what's wrong? Maybe one could think a fine foal from the mare and a fine son from Lothiriel -- okay. I like your stories very much although I don't like so much the protagonists. But I will continue to read your Lothiriel/Eomer universe! Author Reply: Hello Irene, this is just a bit of fun. I wanted the reader to think that the first bit is about Eomer when it's really about his stallion. The mare belongs to Lothiriel and Firefoot got away during the night and covered her, thus causing a bit of a diplomatic incident. And I'm pleased to hear you like my Eomer/Lothiriel stories. I loved it and the descriptions were beautiful, however could there be anymore of this story? It would be a good one. Thankyou for this gift and Merry Christmas a day late and a Happy New Year!!!!!! (confetti flys all over) Hugs The Imp Author Reply: Hello Elflingimp, I'm afraid that I'm not really planning to develop this scenario any further. It was really just a bit of nonsense that begged to be written. A Happy New Year to you as well! Lia

Oh, those crazy kids; starting an international incident by fooling around in the stables. And that's just the horses! Lovely vignette. The breeders' negotiations are going to be very interesting; though I imagine that both Snowflake and Lothiriel will be bound to Rohan before the foal is born. (Lothiriel could thank her mare for getting a good start on the dowry, LOL) Well done! Author Reply: Hello Raksha, it would be interesting to pursue what the legal consequences to this little incident would be. Although like you, I get the impression that the point will soon be moot ;-) Thanks for reviewing! Lia

Oh, this was absolutely wonderful! And well worth waiting for. I've enjoyed all the fics in this collection and this one is just as fun to read as the others were. I can just see Firefoot's smug expression the next morning! As well as Eomer's gobsmacked one when he saw Lothiriel. WOnderful! Author Reply: Hello Edlyn, Firefoot stole a march on his master here, didn't he. Although I get the impression that Eomer won't be far behind. I'm pleased to hear you enjoyed this story and thanks for reviewing! Lia
