Aww! I really thought I had read this before; maybe I have and just don't remember. Anyway, it was a huge mood-booster, which I really needed. I love that in this story the Hobbits took care of Aragorn for a change, and then the care became mutual. Just so sweet! Thank you so much!

Author Reply: It's lovely to hear from you again! I'm so happy this story made you smile.

Ah, yes, Frodo found the best use for lemons yet! And gosh, what if the hobbits discovered limes? Or fajitas with lime juice? Think of the possibilities!

I'd really pay ten year's salary to wake up and see four hobbits looking at me and smiling. I really would.

This was an awesomely beautiful story, and I apologize for not reviewing the last chapter before now. That was horribly negligent of me. In fact, this is one of my favorite stories of yours---and one of my favorite stories period.

There's something definitely to be said about a story that makes you feel happy and light-hearted and in a good mood after reading---this one is a real pick-me-up, which I needed when you wrote it and need again now.

Thank you for such a lovely reading experience.

Author Reply: I wish there was some way for us to see each other more often, but until we figure it out, at least we can write goodies that makes the other smile and feel better. There are stories of yours, long and short, that I still read over and over. Thank you so much for letting me know how much you enjoyed this. I never would have written it if not for you.

Omigosh, hobbits discovering limes and all their uses! That's a 'tipsy' scene you really should explore sometime. *grins*

*hugs you all up*

Oh, this chapter is so wonderfully soothing! It's a balm to my work-ridden mind, honestly. I can almost smell the athelas wafting in the air as I read---and the lemonade. :)

Great explanation of Aragorn's healing abilities, and yes, I imagine Frodo would wonder at Aragorn's new life, wouldn't he? I enjoyed the exploration of that here.

Author Reply: Thank you so much. I thought and thought and THOUGHT about ways for Aragorn to explain to Frodo what had happened, and how. Bless the Professor for being so vague about Aragorn's 'gifts' and letting us imagine things as we will.

Awww, four hobbits in a tub!!! Gosh, I adore this scene. What could be better than that? Oh, I know---tipsy Frodo! Or better yet, tipsy Frodo with a headache in need of some TLC!

Love the last bit, especially, with Aragorn wanting to help Frodo and Frodo reluctant. Of course he'd worry the same thing would happen again.

On to the next chapter again now---eeeeee!!!!!!1

Author Reply: Rub-a-dub-dub, four hobbits in a tub!

I'm in great need of a warm, fluff-filled hurt/comfort story and am re-reading this from start to finish. I just realized I had also never left reviews for the last portion---eeeek!!!!!! I believe you were finishing it as I was offline for a time.

Anyway, to remedy that. :)

I adored this chapter----everything about it! Merry-making and sharing a meal and hobbits and sleeping Aragorn---what's not to like? Adorable.

Author Reply: Thanks, Lily! It's really gratifying to know that I've written things that get re-read and enjoyed. Thank you *again* for inspiring this story, which I thoroughly enjoyed writing.

A lovely ending to your story. Kudos! And the lemons became characters in their own right, hah. This has been an enjoyable read... thanks.

Author Reply: Thank you, Cookie. When I started writing this, I never dreamed that the thread that would wind through this story would be lemons!

I like this last chapter very much. It is full of what you do best: warm and friendly hobbit chatter and banter. It felt a good way to end the story, and as much as I'm sorry there will be no more of this story, I feel contented with such a gentle and warm finish. I am also very aware of the new sacrifice Frodo is making! Learning to like lemons for Sam's sake is a heroic endeavour indeed!

Author Reply: Thank you very much. Whenever I can end a story "gentle and warm", you know I'll do so.

How I love Frodo and Sam -- what a friendship. :)

I saved this one for the last of my weekend so that I could end the weekend with a smile and start the week in a happy mood. Thanks for posting such a lovely story. This is my favorite bit from this chapter:

(((((“I am awake,” Aragorn said, opening his eyes. The sight before him would remain in his memory for the rest of his days: four hobbits smiling, eating, and gazing at him with fondness in their eyes.)))))

Everyone should have such a memory! Lovely!

What a lovely thing to say! Thank you for trusting me to end stories in a light, 'hobbity' way. I'm so happy you enjoyed it. :)

Lemon pie, lemon pudding, lemon tarts, and now, lemon water with raspberries with honey, which sounds really good, I must go and try some.
Aragorn is much better for his time with the hobbits. Glad to see that the hobbits are bringing plenty of food with them, on they walking trip. Should be the first thing in the pack.

Loved reading your story, and glad that the twins are going to stick arround.

Author Reply: Thank you, Grumpy. I like to think that anyone would be cheered and more 'grounded' after spending time with hobbits.

Excellent little story. Aragorn needs healing too, sometimes! I always enjoy some good hurt/comfort with a happy ending.

Author Reply: Thank you so much. I never tire of this type of story, either! :)
