Hi, Fiondil, Another good one - & gapfiller. I notice you have sneakily inserted another cliff-hanger: Now Vorondil smiled more broadly. "For one thing, this is Glorfindel we’re talking about and for another, it was not the Valar who asked Glorfindel to return to Endórë as you well know."

Thank you so very much for this wonderful episode in the lives of Finrod and Vorondil. I love the little hints you gave of things that had happened in the intervening years since Elf Interrupted 1 and 2, as well as the glimpse of Vorondil and Marilla's courtship and marriage. :) The story of the snowbird is so lovely and the underlying truth of having estel in our lives--trusting that, in the end, all things do work for Eru's plan and for the joy of His Children. In times like these when it seems that the world is falling apart into violence and terror, remembering the snowbird is a very good thing. Thank you for my gift fic, dear friend! :) Happy Twelfth Night! Author Reply: You're most welcome, Rhyselle. I am glad you enjoyed this so much and have derived such pleasure from it (as well as its message of hope). Happy Twelfth Night!

Against my habits and likings, "grin", I'll focus this time only on two things. One of them is Findarato's answer given to Andreth. "Estel" and "Ambatire". Beautifully explained. Yet I'll put my own two cents in for I cannot help myself. Again. "wide grin and hopeless shrug" What about a third kind of hope, one created by blending together the two previous ones? For, in my opinion, "Estel" cannot survive too long without "Ambatire" and neither "Ambatire" without "Estel". And maybe, just maybe, to have one will bring also the other in one's heart. The other thing I want to broach is Nyereser's presence which begins to become more and more intriguing, making me to hope that perhaps we would see the outcome of Hope and Love, acting together in relation to one of the greatest challenge of Tolkien's universe. Hope, Love and Forgiveness. Well, perhaps, in time... P.S. I think I don't anymore have to say much about the quality of this piece. You know already my opinion. "smile" Author Reply: Hi Sitara. I think we all need both kinds of 'hope' but what the blending of the two would be called, I do not know. Tolkien only defined these two aspects of 'hope/trust'. I actually wasn't expecting Nyéreser to show up in this story, but I'm glad he did. He is very intriguing indeed and I hope to learn more about him in the future. I'm glad you enjoyed this little fic, Sitara. Thanks for letting me know. I appreciate it.
