Odd Tales with Questionable Outcomes  by Grey Wonderer 28 Review(s)

*grin* I remember this! Hilarious!

Perhaps next year, Sam can plant the tomatoes upside-down in buckets like I do. They wouldn't need any stakes then, and maybe Pippin could try his experiment again.

Author Reply: You know, Sam might just be the very hobbit that thought of those upside down tomatoes! You should do a fiction where he or someone in the Shire plants upside down tomatoes. That would be funny. I'm sure the Gaffer would find it very annoying!

Can you just imagine an Ent Tomato upside down in a bucket? LOL

Most sinister! I suspect a CONSPIRACY! Where do you suppose Merry, Pippin, Sam and Fatty were when it up and vanished?

Author Reply: I don't know! You may be onto something there. I'll have to question them later.

Absolutely delightful! Merry's moment of picturing the tomatoes on his plate opening their eyes was wonderfully creepy. Pip does need to be more careful with the Ent Draught!

MEWD!!

Author Reply: Thank you.

GW, ONLY YOU could come up with a premise such as this! Oh, how wonderful! How delightful! And trust Pippin to be behind it somehow! Hehehehehehehe!

Author Reply: Sometimes when I get these ideas I think to myself, ok, that's as weird as it's going to get and then another comes along. I've no idea where they all come from. I guess I just take in the plot bunnies too weird for everyone else. Someone has to do it.
Glad you enjoyed it.

Don't turn your back on a prologue? Tricksy devils, eh? Heh!

Author Reply: Very true. It just disappeared. Who knew?

Be careful what you wish for, you may get more than you bargained for!
Really Pippen! Fool of a Took!
Lynda

Author Reply: Playing with Ent Draught in the garden at home isn't at all recommended. : )

“I know how it sounds, Mr. Frodo,” Sam said embarrassed.

“Do you?”

LOL! This is a pure delight, and no mistake! I'm so glad you posted it here.

Author Reply: I had meant to post it here but for some reason never got to it until tonight. I guess I was just in the mood. Spring is here and it seems everyone is trying to grow really big tomatoes so this seemed just the thing.
Thanks for reading it again.

Oh, what a fun story! And, seriously, I was going to have some heirloom tomatoes and cheese for dinner. *rethinks*

Author Reply: Cheese is good but don't eat anything that winks at you or stirs around on your plate all on its own. That's my feelings on it.
Thanks for reading this and I'm glad you enjoyed it. Good luck with your dinner.
