But he will, I think, do much to earn her trust. Author Reply: I think that unconsciously she's already taken his measure and knows she can trust his given word. And she's grown up amongst men of honour, so is really a bit of an innocent still. | |

| At least I can no review! I take it that it was Eomer himself that came guised as a messenger to take her measure, and that he liked what he saw. Then she mistakes one of his companions as the King, her already drawn to him without yet realizing it. And now, trying to kidnap her brother, she's instead managed to capture the very man she's been trying to avoid? How typical and funny! Author Reply: Hello Larner, what a nice surprise to hear from you again! And you've been busy reading ;-) This turned into a story full of twists, some of them even taking me by surprise as I wrote it. But I'm really pleased to hear you enjoyed the story. | What a fitting epilogue! Loved the glimpses you gave us of Eowyn and Faramir, my second favorite couple. Poor Eothain, you'd think he'd have learned his lesson. I'm glad Eomer and Lothy were able to convince Imrahil that nothing inappropriate happened. Hope to read something about my favorite couple again soon? Author Reply: I'm pleased that you liked the epilogue! As for more, there's nothing in the pipeline at the moment, but you never know. | I can only imagine the juicy gossip circulating around Gondor at this time--must have been quite scandalous, but very romantic I must say. It's a good thing there weren't any tabloids back then. ;-) Amrothos, as always, is my favorite Dol Amroth prince. Author Reply: LOL, I can see the headlines in my mind! And Lothiriel would have been beleaguered with paparazzi... And Amrothos is my favourite as well, that's why he usually manages to sneak into my stories even when his older brothers don't. | |

| I enjoyed reading Lothy's thoughts while waiting for her father to be summoned. And Leona's "ambush" proposal was very very romantic. The first time I read this I was wondering if we'll ever see the young couple again. Author Reply: Léona realized he was running out of time, so he finally had to take his chances! | |
