And so the innocence of a child brings Glorfindel back to the light, as is only fitting. Thanks for sharing this story with us, Lai.

I really liked the fact that a child managed to do what the adults didn't. Glad that Glorfindel is back where belongs. Heartbreaking but beautiful story. Great work. Thank you.

Author Reply: I have to thank you for following my story. I“m glad you liked the ending. I ever liked Galadriel“s sentence: Even the smallest person can change a course. Yes Glorfindel is finally back. Thank you for every review. I really appreciated them. Lai

Excellent--that indeed broke through the barrier of depression and reaction and brought him back to himself!

Good pacing.

Author Reply: Thank you, Larner. I“m happy you like the ending of my story. Thank you so much for following it and most of all for the many reviews. Lai

It must seem a major defeat. But I suspect that a small child may this time lead the way back to recovery.

Author Reply: you may be right..sometimes the smallest can make the difference. Thank you for reviewing. Lai

A good question. Come back, Glorfindel.

Author Reply: indeed and hopefully Elrond will find the right answer quickly. Thank you so much for a appreciated review. Lai

Or perhaps not as great a defeat as he thought. So, the Nazgul had held him totally immobile until after the attack first by Thalan and then on Thalan, eh? And now he's at least back home in his own body. Will Glorfindel do the same? That he assaulted the Nazgul physically is fascinating.

Author Reply: attack to deviate, so that Glorfindel can slip the grasp. Dire circumstances requires dire acting. Yes, back in his body but that“s the good news...Thank you for reading and reviewing. Lai

This isolated stone prison would be quite the feat, given the circumstances. Now--to convince Glorfindel to continue to fight and actually throw the bugger out! The determination to die and to face the prospect of returning to Namo's halls would be a shock. And the thought of becoming a reborn Reborn....

(Sorry, please forgive the irreverent thought! Heh!)

Author Reply: Elrond will have to do much convincing and Namo will surely have his say in greating Glorfindel again in his halls... a reborn Reborn sounds interesting and would be quite a fitting title for Glorfindel *g*. Thank you for reading and reviewing, Lanrer. Lai

A most grim battle, and I rejoice that with the twins and Vilya he was able to prevail--for now. Now--to get that unwanted visitor out of there!

Author Reply: yes, but how to get rid of a Nazgūl? Another battle is coming...promise. Thank you for the review. Lai

Definitely a matter about which they must be seriously concerned. And no wonder Glorfindel had hoped to die, too, to keep from being so used.

Author Reply: exactly! And of all things Glorfindel was used to become a safety risk. This has to be unbearable for him. Thank you so much for letting me know your thoughts, Larner. Lai

A terrible possibility, but one I believe he can probe successfully. Recognizing a potential danger is the first step toward countering it.

Author Reply: indeed! but I feel sorry for Elrond to even have to consider this possibility. Thank you for your review. Lai
