| Bwahahah! I can imagine even more additions to the "real" story... like, when Gandalf made Aragorn forget that he actually knew Frodo for quite a long time and he had to forget for the sake of the quest *nod* (Shirebound's wonderful Quarantined series) Or all of those ridiculous things that happened in their four days of Moria! You know, that's a lot of Legolas, Boromir, and Hobbits getting in trouble there. I am sure that Aragorn got in bad trouble at least once during the Quest that Pippin didn't mention and Frodo didn't write down... *grin* Oh, to imagine the possibilities! Author Reply: I wouldn't be surprised in the least if he did, and if he didn't, I'm sure that there are plenty of Dunedain (to say nothing of the sons of Elrond) who will be glad to fill in the rest of the gaps in his life with trouble! ~Celeritas Author Reply: [from Dreamflower] Well, we decided to just concentrate on west of the Misty Mountains, because if we had covered all of the rest of the Quest we'd still be writing. And I am sure that Aragorn had his share of trouble; Pippin seemed to concentrate most on the trouble the hobbits got into! | |

| LOL!!! Great story! I think I read many of those stories Frodo left out, including the "pissing contest" ;-) And I find it a wonderful idea that Frodo himself gave the permission to write all the other stories down (which includes the fan fiction writers): and if you’d like to include any of the other things that happened on the Quest, you’re more than welcome to write them down yourselves! | And what about Aragorn? Why did you leave out the time when was captured by the Orcs and Galdalf had to distract them with fireworks so Legolas and Boromir could save him? Or how he sang the entire Lay of Leithian for three day, and then forgot where he was when Bill bit him from behind, and started anew? And the time when Legolas forced him to use his scented soap, and then he found out he's allergic to it? | Too funny! The tribulations of a writer are the same, whether one is a 21st fanfic writer or Frodo Baggins himself. I loved all the different adventures that Frodo left out; he'll have to write up some as AU's someday...
