| What a nice surprise on this Monday morning. I was hoping you start posting the sequel to Elf Academy this week, but I was expecting it not before Wednesday (I don't know why*g*). This is an ambiguous beginning. Artemis Gordon could turn out to be foe or friend in the end. Thanks for explaining the name. Never heard of it before. I love the "spy - excuse me, intelligence officer" thing. Is that from this old TV show? I encountered it in another TV show: Scarecrow and Mrs. King. Author Reply: Hi obsidianj. Well, I knew not everyone would be old enough to remember The Wild Wild West or the character of Artemus Gordon, so an explanation was necessary. And the "spy - excuse me, intelligence officer" doesn't come from that show. I used to watch Scarecrow and Mrs. King but don't remember using that phrase. At any rate, I'm glad you liked the way this sequel begins even though it is ambiguous, as it is meant to be. Whether Meriwether is friend or foe to the Elves remains to be seen, of course. | Yay! I was hoping you would continue this story and you have. You've made a great many fans happy! I'm really hoping Legolas will make an appearance - someone needs to show up the twins in archery! Great beginning and looking forward to Mondays and Fridays! Author Reply: Hi Ces. Well, I had enough people bugging me about it and I did want to write a sequel so I decided this was a good time for one. *grin* I honestly don't know who may show up in this story, so you never know... | Now that was a bit unexpected - while it was to be expected that there are people going to be a bit curious about the ears and all, but sending a spy wasn't exactly what I had imagined. Rather an army of journalists ... That's going to be interesting! And that guy knows one of the elves? Now you have me really curious how that will go, if he's going to be recognized and all that.
