Cardinals  by Agape4Gondor 47 Review(s)

“There is a great disturbance in the East. Can you not feel the wind?”

The cardinals’ song grew louder, triumphant.

What a unique POV for a wonderful event. I'm enjoying this very much.

Author Reply: Thanks, Shirebound.

I don't know if Edhellond was even affected by the black skies of Mordor. No mention is made, but I know they felt, in their fëar, that things were not going well. Because of that, I felt they'd know the moment Sauron fell. Such good vibes reverberating throughout the lands of Middle-earth.

Again, thanks and for commenting.

Loved the victory celebration at the end, Agape. I can understand Boromir being overwhelmed by the Elves' singing. Looking forward to more.

Author Reply: Thanks so much, Fiondil, for your encouraging words. For myself, I think I would swoon a the sight of an Elf, never mind hearing them sing as one. *shivers in ecstasy*

Bless you and thanks for the comments. You know they're appreciated, embraced!

What a lovely description of the victory celebration in a strange area of Middle Earth. I am enjoying this story thank you.

Author Reply: Edhellond isn't mentioned hardly at all. I've often wondered what they were going through during these dark days. Perhaps sheltered from the storm? Who knows.

Glad, very glad, you like the description of the celebration. I do so hope you continue to enjoy this tale.

Thank you for commenting. Most appreciated.

Okay. Now this was definitely one for the books. A most interesting idea, Boromir living in Edhellond but unable to leave or he dies for real. Yet for how long will he stay before he decides it's time for him to die as all mortals must? Definitely something to ponder upon. Excellent story, Agape. Thanks for sharing.

Author Reply: *giggle* Yup - I've go the Man of Gondor right where I want him!

This is going to be a shortie for me. But a fun story. Glad you had a moment to read and comment, in the midst of your own story-telling.

Bless you!!!

What an unexpected fate to find--that he lives but must remain where he is! A wonderful tale!

Author Reply: Thanks, Larner! I'm so glad you're enjoying this.

Can't you just see Boromir's level of frustration rising. ROTFL I'm mean. I know it.

Oh my, what a lovely and unusual tale. This is a sweet gift... for Boromir as well as the birthday girl.

Author Reply: To have her beloved Boromir, her favorite birds, and her favorite fruit (next chapter) all in one tale has made her a happy girl.

Besides that, I'm glad you like it. I'm so used to writing angst that the joy exuding from this tale makes me glad.

Bless you for commenting.
