That's a beautiful, moving story, and a lovely tribute to Fiondil. Author Reply: Thank you, dear!

Dreamflower, you made me cry. That was such a sweet story and just perfect for the Elf Acadamy universe. I'd like to know more about Gabby and her future. This was a glimpse that left me wanting to see more. Great job. Author Reply: Thank you very much, dear. I don't know that I'll write more of the story. I don't want to interfere with whatever may be in EA4, as that is being worked on by others. (But, I will tell you, that like Pippin, she thrives. She recovers enough to eventually return to the work she loves (though it is a very long and hard road) and she will eventually get together with Sam Gardener, who aside from being a very decent young man doesn't otherwise have much in common with the other Sam Legolas once knew.)

This is perfect Dreamflower. What a lovely tribute. Author Reply: Thank you. I just could not get it out of my mind, once it occurred to me that there must be a special bond between Legolas and the child he saved.

That brings tears to my eyes the way you honored Fiondil here with this story. I'm sure he'd approve of you adding this to his universe. IT seems so Legolas to be reminded of the hobbits by one he knew as a small child and watched growing up. Author Reply: Thank you. I truly wished to honor his universe. I think that Legolas' time among the Fellowship was a pivotal time in his life, and the ties he made then would always be bound by love. He is determined not to let the memory of his beloved friends die, especially the hobbits. After all, he and Gandald/Olorin/Mithrandir are the only ones left of that band of brothers.
