Yeah another EA story. Enjoyed this start and looking forward to seeing Christmas through Finrod's eyes. Will brighten up my Mondays & Fridays once more. Thank you.

Awww, this was great fun! I'm up to 14 sorts of Christmas cookies already and not done yet - baking with schoolkids is stressful but very enjoyable - and will sing the contralto solo in "Deck the Halls" on our Christmas concert, so you met my current mood with this story dead on. :)

Now I wonder what kind of gifts the Three Amigos are buying.

Author Reply: Hi Soledad. It's been great fun writing this and very surprising, too. I baked 6 loaves of pumpkin bread yesterday, myself. Cookies come next. *grin* Not sure what kind of gifts the Three Amigos are buying. Perhaps we'll find out eventually. Thanks for leaving a comment. It's much appreciated.

Yay! A new story! And one set in Wiseman. :-)
It will be interesting to see what the Valinorean Elves makes of Christmas, which must surely be the most commercializes of all celebrations. Hopefully they will be able to get something more that the usual annual shopping madness out of it.

Author Reply: Hi Sunny. We'll be seeing how the Valinórean Elves deal with Christmas. This story will be told through Finrod's eyes. Thanks for commenting. I really appreciate it.

Oh, Atto! A Christmas story! :) I'm so glad we didn't have to wait long for more of the Elf Academy. *hugs Atto* I just love Finrod and Glorfindel here. Findalaure's concern for his atto is wonderful, too. I love seeing everyone getting into the Christmas spirit, and the carolers were adorable. :) I hope to see more soon! Will this be Monday/Friday or Monday/Wednesday/Friday? Or dare I hope every day, lol?

*makes cup of hot cocoa for Atto and gives* It's not exactly Elrohir's best, but it's my best :) I hope you're not too cold!

Tye-melin, Atto!

Kaylee

P.S. I'm on the mend, so hopefully I shall be able to review more often.

Author Reply: Hi Kaylee. I'm glad to hear you're on the mend, that's great. I'm so glad you enjoyed this first chapter. There's more to come. This story will be posted on Mondays and Fridays. Thanks for the hot cocoa. Tye-melin.

Ooo! More E.A.!!!

Yep, I would imagine the way we Mortals celebrate Christmas would be a little bemusing to some one not used to our ways. Glorfi needs to sit Finrod down and explain things to him!

Glad they were able to get Finrod out of his funk, Christmas can do that to you.

Waiting for more.

Huggs,
Lynda

Author Reply: Hi Lynda. As with most things having to do with customs, it's not enough to explain them. Finrod and the other Elves from Valinor need to live them and this is basically what this little tale is about, though the point-of-view is Finrod's with commentary from others. Glad you are looking forward to more for there is indeed more to come. Thanks for commenting. It's much appreciated. Hugs.

Wow, I was just hoping for one chapter showing the gweder getting their swords back. Obviously you have better ideas to go with your tons of talent. Thank you!

Author Reply: Hi UTfrog. At first I thought of just doing a one-shot, as you had suggested, but then Finrod intimated that he wished to be spotlighted and this tale is from his point-of-view. It won't be a long tale, but it will continue beyond the New Year, so you will be able to enjoy this throughout the holiday season. I'm glad you are pleased to see this. Thanks for letting me know. I appreciate it.

Have not read the first word of the story, yet but wanted to say a huge THANK YOU first.

Author Reply: You are more than welcome.

Really sweet story! Glad to see the Elf Academy stories are continuing, can't wait for the next main story. I wonder if Maglor will become involved in this story at some point? I presume he's still in Middle-Earth, and it would be nice to him at the Academy and finding some peace at last, like Alex did.

Author Reply: Hello Emma,

I'm so pleased that you enjoyed this first chapter. This particular tale is sort of a bridge between EA2 and 3, though the third installment won't see the light of day for some time, perhaps not until later next year. As for Maglor... that remains to be seen. Thanks for taking the time to review. I appreciate it very much.
