Fun! Seeing their beloved home worked in glass... So wonderful. :-)

Boys' day out! Sounds like fun.... And yes, I'm sure they did draw all kinds of attention... :-)

If only we were all strong enough to be able to risk looking like an idiot and admit when we were wrong. So hard, but it might save so much heartache and frustration....

Thanks for writing!

I think the timing of Hobbits with Earendil was lovely -- it gave me a bit of a shiver when I read it.

I really liked Frodo's thoughts on *why* someone who had never had a problem with Olorin before might potentially be reacting badly to this new revelation -- always do important to stop and ask *why*. And I can see this happening, really -- both in this case, and I'm his example with Elladan. Our prejudices are so silently sewn in sometimes that we don't actually even realize they're there until something happens to highlight them...

Enjoying, thanks!

Am really enjoying this! *smiles happily*

For me, the sense of Olorin and Manwe's 'siblinghood' really started to gel in this chapter. They both seem as if it is becoming a more comfortable state of being for them...

Thanks again for writing!

I have been recently listening to a book by the author Henri Nouwen, and he wrote of how intimacy when it comes to God is just the opposite of human intimacy -- while human intimacy suggests a small group or a type of exclusivity, the intimacy of God must be understood as completely inclusive. He really is able to love all uniquely without slighting anyone else, but this is so far from our human experience that it is very difficult to grasp. The conversation here reminds me a lot of that -- jealousy and fear abound because people compare and are afraid they are not loved and respected.

On another note -- I wish I could just tap my cup and have tea appear... :-P

Thanks so much for writing! :-)

I was so happy to see another chapter posted for this story. I have so enjoyed your other stories -- not only are they fun and interesting, but there is a depth to them that really draws me (much like the discussion that followed from the observation regarding remaining in fana too long in this chapter). Your work has given me much to think on. I did not start this one, as it was not finished, but seeing this update I am starting it now! :-)

I very much enjoyed this chapter, and am anxious to see in the next what kind of trouble was stirred up by all the news and revelations -- it's always something, and someone... :-P

I read your author's note in the most recent chapter, and will definitely pray for you during this Advent and Christmas season -- I hope you continue to feel better. Thanks so much for writing!

So glad to see you posting again! It has been a time since this was updated.

How very Pippinish, the Pippin who answered Gandalf's question as to what would please him with the statement he wanted to know everything from under-earth to over-heaven. Heh! And I am glad he is receiving word of Frodo healed. What joy!
