How neat! Is it really this siepml? You make it look easy.

Author Reply: simple? Please read on. I don´t think anything is simple for our hereos. Thanks for the review. Lai

Hi Laikwalasse The story is beautiful and sad. This is a wonderful tribute to Fiondil and to all who go over the sea. Thank you Galathil

Author Reply: thank you so much, Galadhil. Maybe we will all meet again on other shores. It´s a nice hope. Lai

Too bad there couldn't be a happy ending but in some ways this story is better because you didn't give us one. Thanks for your hard work on this, I will keep an eye open for other stories with an elven focus from you.

Author Reply: there is a happy ending in some way. It´s high time for the Valar to intervene. Thank you so much for your lovely review. I´m glad you like my stories and will keep an eye on them. My focus will always be on elves. Lai

Finally! Glorfindel has realized Elvea will be waiting for him. Let's face it, the Valar owes that happy ending to him. All's well that ends well. Thank you for this story Lai, I've enjoyed it very much.

Author Reply: yes, the Valar have much to make right. Glorfindel deserves at least this small hope. I´m glad you liked my story, my friend. Thank you so much for your constant reviewing. You know how much appreciate it. Lai

At least Glorfindel is finally healing indeed, and will not linger. The thought that the healed Elvea will be awaiting them with Celebrian is heartening. I'll admit I'd not thought of it.

And we all miss Fiondil!

Author Reply: the thought came to me with the last chapter and thrilled me. The only way to get Glorfindel back and lure him to the blessed lands. Fiondil suggested the name for Elvea. What would I give for a review of him....thanks for reviewing, Larner. I really appreciate it. Lai

something that is lost on these shores may be found again on other shores.

I hope this is true, not only for our beloved Elves. What a marvelous tale, and a lovely, poignant gift for Fiondil who, also, may be waiting on distant shores.

Author Reply: exactly my thoughts, shirebound. Thank you so much for your lovely reviews and following my story. Lai

Such evil and heartache. Elrond is desperate to leave, but Glorfindel is in a very dark place and will not listen to reason. I am enjoying this story Lai, and look forward to finding out how this misery is resolved.

Author Reply: Elrond can no longer wait but he cannot leave without knowing about Glorfindel. He is not to envy right now. Elrond´s misery is a mirror of my soul at the moment, as you know but I will solve the problems - here and there. Thank you so much for your review, Tina. Lai

Morgoth's influence is still being felt, and Glorfindel continues to grieve the healing of heart and spirit he'd so worked to evoke.

Author Reply: hopefully Elrond can soon pull the warrior from this deep hole of sorrow. It would do both of them good. Thank you for a most appreciated review, Larner. Lai

It appears that she has been only partly arrested in whatever process was used to turn Elves into orcs. Alas for Glorfindel's dreams of seeing her restored.

Author Reply: maybe it´s better to never learn what was behind the plan of an insane Istari. Poor Glorfindel indeed! Thank you for reviewing, Larner. Lai
