My thanks to the Boccacio family for their permission to publish this story and to Elli, Mari and Shemyaza for the work involved posting the chapters. Glad Glorfindel & company made it safely to their destination. I agree with Glorfindel the GPS voice can be annoying. Everyone seems to be accounted for expect for Ron & family, hope they aren’t having problems. Treasure Hunt! It will be interesting to find out just what is this artifact is and how it may help.

Author Reply: Indeed, we are greatly indebted to Arthur's family for allowing us to publish his last story, and thank you on behalf of myself, Ellie and Mari, although we didn't do any of the hard work of writing!

I absolutely hate the voice on the GPS. Here in the UK the voice on my niece's GPS is female and always sounds exasperated, possible because my niece never follows the instructions!

Don't worry too much about Ron and Family, they will be fine and appearing soon.

Indeed the matter of the artifact is fascinating and we shall see if its' uses become clear as the story develops.

Well, I'm glad that Alex's I feel the need to go with you did not turn into a full fledged disaster that it could have. I did think something might happen to them. SO Gwyen and Gareth do have something that came to them ... hmm during the Crusades or afterwards? Guess we'll have to wait to find out.

Author Reply: Absolutely. Arthur loved his chapter cliffhangers! And yes, more of Gareth and Gwynn's sojourn with the Templars will be forthcoming!

Hi, this is Shemyaza here, logging into the reviews from Fiondil's account.

My apologies about the rating before this chapter, I did make sure it was on PG before I posted it, but for some reason it kept defaulting to a higher rating. the chapter isn't meant to have a higher rating than PG13 at the highest. I will try to remove it.

Many thanks.

The content warning that popped up had me worried for our friends, but I am glad to see everyone has made it this far (relatively) unharmed. Glorfindel's "paranoia" and apparent difficulty keeping track of time is making me a bit nervous, though (then again, maybe *I'm* paranoid from so recently finishing a re-read of EA3 and everything that happened to our heroes in *that* tale). Sounds as if there are strange doings afoot.

Hope everyone is well!

Author Reply: Hi Sarah, nope, the content warning is some glitch, that or I am being dumb. I have made sure that the age restriction is PG- 13, but it keeps defaulting to the age restriction page. Maybe it knows I am not Fiondil? I keep expecting a big accusing finger to appear every time I login in as Fiondil to say "You are NOT he!"

You have hit a nail on the head with Glorfindel's paranoia and the difficulty in keeping track of time. I won't elucidate any further because, you know "Spoilers Sweetie!" but hold that thought, it will suddenly make sense. There are indeed strange doings afoot.

Well, Atya, Beta Amiga nettenyar, this is a fine kettle of fish our Elves have stumbled into!

Lake Placid, eh? Site of the Olympics, yes, but I seem to remember hearing it in another context...

And just what is this 200-year-old artefact (should that be 'artifact'? I ask because spellcheck here doesn't like the 'e') that the Twins have hidden away? Why do I get the feeling it's got something to do with the first part of the Prologue, even though that was more than 200 years ago?

Will we ever get the Elven Gang back together, or are Prince Legolas and his Rangers going to remain scattered? What about Cennanion, Barahir, Alphwen and Eirien? "Decided to remain where they are" sounds ominous. Are they not meeting up with Glorfindel and the rest at all? Somehow I don't know if that will work.

The "Orclings" are adorable. I think I told Atto once, but mine and Emma's version of Thranduil has an older cousin who called him "little orcling" when he was an elfling this size. I seem to remember Lynda, was it, referring to her little ones (grandchildren?) as orclings. I wonder if we had any bearing on this. When will we find out the orclings' names?

And I just love that Alex and Felicity have an Orcling (tehehe) of their own on the way soon! But that'll make running from the Enemy just that bit harder, too. Before long, running won't avail them and they will have to stand and fight. I wonder when, and where...

I'm just glad our core group of heroes have been able to blend in again as well as they have!

Love to you, Atya, and may Eru bless you and keep you as always,

And with deepest gratitude to all three of you, Beta Amigas, nettenyar,

Kaylee

Author Reply: Hi Kaylee, I am absolutely sure that Atya Fiondil will be send his love back to you. As for whether they all get back together, keep reading!

And you are very welcome, I'm sorry it's taken so long to post it, but we were all trying to come to terms with Arthur's passing, however, we all felt it was time to post it.

Glad most everyone made it to NY. Interesting that they are in a resort town. Retrieving the artifact will be a challenge I am sure.

Author Reply: Thanks for reviewing we really appreciate every comment. I can't really comment on the retrieval of the artifact because it would give the entire game away about the story events, but keep reading, all will become clear!
