| Thank you, the three of you for posting this. I feel obliged to say that I simply do not want to be as ill-mannered as Aradenhel, but I was getting worried about whether you on the team were ill, or had problems of another sort. I honestly feel that whilst Literary criticism is permissible, personal criticism is not. Thank you. I suppose that we ought to have foreseen that Namo had a lot to do with this. This did make me feel that Namo, a Valar whom I shall be meeting fairly soon, given my age and state of health, has some very deeply hidden plans for Alex, and for the rest of the elves who are on Earth. Mind you, I also feel that he simply doesn't want to have Glorfindel back cluttering up Mandos. Thanks for this roller-coaster, I almost forgot to breathe. Author Reply: Thank you for your concern and support. I know that Ellie has been bombarded with family and health issues and her husband has been in hospital getting surgery. So she has had a lot on her mind. Her Hubby came through the surgery fine thank goodness. I have health issues and haven't been too well, but I am in remission which is great. It's just that there are lots of side effects from chemo and the transplant that carry on for years. I have GVHD of the gut and skin, and the skin erupted very badly over January and most of February. Sadly GVHD can be a killer in it's own right. It happens when you are not a 100% match with your donor. Your new immune system sees the rest of your body as the enemy and since the skin is your largest organ, it usually affects that first. Your skin starts to fall off and you get raw ulcerated patches and because your immune system is still very young you can get infections which will eventually kill you if you don't get treatment. It's been a bit of a rough ride since Christimas personally and also we had the issue over the missing chapter which thankfully Ellie found and sent to me. | What took you 3 so long to post?????? Author Reply: Pleasant as ever I see. Well, let me see now. Ellie has some serious home and family health issues, I have leukaemia and a crumbling spine, plus a much loved sister who is going through treatment for Pancreatic cancer, Mari hasn't been really that involved with the posting of the chapters but she has problems of her own. We each take minutes out of our daily life to post these final chapters of a much loved SoA writer and we are happy to do that. However, sometimes, real life issues take precedent. In essence, I post the chapters when I am able. We all have things in our lives which are, shock, horror, more important than fanfiction. Perhaps you have a calm life with no issues, health or otherwise,then you are very lucky. Has anyone ever told you that your attitude stinks and that you are rude beyond beleief? No? Consider yourself told. Either make a proper review or read the chapter quietly. You are not entitled to complain since this is a labour of love for me and the one way I feel I can honour a dear, very talented friend. | |
