Ah, I'm so glad to see this story here! I loved it over on ff.net, and enjoyed reading it again here. Such a unique, unexplored perspective. I especially loved your exploration of the impact the Silmaril had on them. And their grief over their sons is so profoundly heartwrenching. Just a beautiful, brilliantly done story, and one of my very favorites.

Hi AE! I don't have time to read your story tonight, but I thought you might like to know: In your story summary, I believe that "effected" should be "affected". Though "effect" is also a verb, it's not used very often (correctly, that is), and I don't think it makes sense in this particular context. Hope this helps! - Barbara
