Interesting notes. Yes, Ferumbras became Thain at his father's death, but as the Took Lalia had too much power for such a difficult individual. Thanks so for several hours of entertainment!

A wonderful return of a beloved and brave sheepdog. And to be commanded to hold the children under his charge during the wedding--I laughed and applauded! A wonderful story. Your Pearl is much different than mine in many ways, and I honor her for her willingness to sacrifice her happiness for the sake of her family's needs. Thanks for this!

Unfortunately, fire has again caused its own distress in the troubled tween's heart. Bless them all, including Lalia. A new year indeed, and hopefully without requiring Rosemary to sacrifice herself to Ferumbras. But then, there is the Time of Troubles to come, as WE know. And we know where it is that Estella Bolger goes to find safety from a fate worse than the one Rosemary faces now!
