Orophins Dottir · 4 December 2003 · Chapter 3: Sinister
What would we do without Glorfindel? He ever takes on a life of his own even as we say we write him. I tend to look around for a whip when I let him enter my own stories. Dear Old Balrog Slayer! And Legolas with that herringbone braid down his back! In truth, dost thou know how difficult it is to accomplish a herringbone braid? Only an elf would choose it for everyday attire! I admit I wasn't keen on the idea of a "modern day" story, but this is proving interesting and well written. I shall continue! Humble Scribe to his Majesty Thranduil

You are so right about Glorfindel. I love the way he seems to always dance out of reach. And as my hair is short, I have to laugh; I didn't know how hard a herringbone braid is to form. Only an Elf, to be sure - Legolas must be thankful he doesn't have to make one every day. I'm glad that you are enjoying this story. I hope I can continue to meet you standards of interest. :)
