This is an adorable little fic! I can easily picture young Faramir Took - just as sweet, charming - and cheeky - as his father!!

nancylea57 · 6 December 2008 · Chapter 6: Lessons on horses.

if only every child could be so fearless and have so little to fear. love the fact that she has to work it out in her mind who he is and thaat it never even phases him that she knows his name.

nancylea57 · 6 December 2008 · Chapter 5: The King of the Golden Hall

you know it just occurred to me, you never hear about eomer sitting in his office, wonder if he planned that? but he knows how to handle a hobbit... feed it.

nancylea57 · 6 December 2008 · Chapter 3: Tea Between Faramirs

a foot and a half high sitting on the kings feet....hmm could only be a took. but what a 'dorable took it is. i thank shirebound for rec-ing and you for writing, nice gig.

GamgeeFest · 6 December 2008 · Chapter 1: For the Love of Hobbits

This is adorable! No guard is match to a little hobbit child. And I think that bawdy limericks are quite adorable when sung by such innocent children. Certainly, it does make them funnier. *wicked grin*

Linda Hoyland · 6 December 2008 · Chapter 1: For the Love of Hobbits

Just delightful!

mews1945 · 6 December 2008 · Chapter 1: For the Love of Hobbits

Absolutely delightful. I could see Faramir Took sitting on the King's feet, and singing that bawdy song.

Idril Celebrindal · 10 April 2007 · Chapter 6: Lessons on horses.

I am so glad I found these! I have really enjoyed them. I hope you continue to add to them. Idril

shirebound · 24 July 2004 · Chapter 6: Lessons on horses.

Updates to this story always make me so happy! And this one is as charming as the others.

Nienna Elanesse · 5 July 2004 · Chapter 5: The King of the Golden Hall

lol! There's hope for Eomer, yet! Creative conflict resolution is a much needed skill . . . :)

Mewsette · 30 June 2004 · Chapter 5: The King of the Golden Hall

My dear, you have great talent, and I love your portrayls of the hobbits and their interactions with others, particularly with Legolas, who is one of my favorties also. I'm a grandmother, and I've been writing my own fiction for a long time, but I don't have your light touch. I tend to write angst, horror, or thrillers, but I do enjoy humor. I don't know if you're a fan of Baylor's, but I find her outrageously talented and your writing reminds me of hers in a way. Have you read "A Word of Caution Regarding Hobbits"? It's about Faramir Took and Legolas, and it's wonderful too. I intend to read everything you've written that I can get my hands on, and hope you will continue to write. You have a lot to say, and a lot to contribute to the world. Congratulations and keep it up. Julia

Wow, thank you so much! Baylor is one of my favorite fanfic authors, and to be compared to her is great. I got your review while I was in Europe, at the end of a hard day, and it really made me happy. I hope that you enjoy my other work; I'm so glad that you like it! Ella

maya_ar · 29 June 2004 · Chapter 5: The King of the Golden Hall

I am so enjoying this series! Do write more of these. cheers, Maya

Bodkin · 29 June 2004 · Chapter 5: The King of the Golden Hall

I agree. This is absolutely gorgeous. Eomer and the hobbit. What a combination! How about Eowyn and the hobbit?

Author's reply

Thank you! I am planning on writing one with Eowyn and the hobbit; she's next in line. :)

EllyBaggins · 22 June 2004 · Chapter 4: Queen Arwen's Gift

i'm really enjoying this story, it's fantastic to read about the children of the four hobbits of the ring war. you've captured all of the characters perfectly, particularly Aragorn in chapter 1. However, from chapter 1 onwards, the status of the story has been 'complete', even though there are more updates, i think the status should be 'in progress', unless this is the final chapter. other than that, the story is brilliant and i look forward to reading more of your work.

Author's reply

You're right! I'll fix that; thanks for pointing it out! I'm glad you like my stories, they're such fun to write. :)

Hai Took · 21 June 2004 · Chapter 4: Queen Arwen's Gift

How wonderful! All these sweet little tales of Faramir's visit in Minas Tirith. I like that he felt he could confide in Arwen, I would think that elves would have that kind of effect on people. I liked Faramir talking with Prince Faramir, so very sweet! Thank you for such lovely little tales!

Author's reply

I started these as just the first chapter, and expanded them. I'm glad that you like them!

shirebound · 21 June 2004 · Chapter 4: Queen Arwen's Gift

Oh, your encounters between Faramir Took and... ANYONE... are so wonderful! What a darling, endearing lad, who charms everyone he meets. *happy sigh*

Author's reply

Thanks! I love Faramir Took, he's such a sweetheart.

Tialys · 1 June 2004 · Chapter 2: Meetings

What an amazing idea! Thanks for sharing it. Faramir Took's behavior and everything was very cute. Wonderful job!

Raksha The Demon · 31 May 2004 · Chapter 3: Tea Between Faramirs

This is a very sweet story. I loved the Tea between Faramirs; there are not that many stories that have the two Faramirs meet. It was great when little Faramir told Big Faramir that he was one of his heroes...

Author's reply

I wrote it because I'd never read a fic where the two meet, and I thought that it would be an interesting story. I'm really glad you liked it!

shirebound · 31 May 2004 · Chapter 3: Tea Between Faramirs

I wish there was a new chapter of this delight of a story every single day! I just can't get enough of how this tiny hobbit lad is charming everyone he meets. Every city should have hobbits-in-residence! *happy sigh*

Author's reply

Thanks! I'm actually going to be writing a bunch of these. I've got bunnies for Eomer, Eowyn, Arwen, and possibly Beregond the guard. WHo knows, more may follow those. :)

Camellia Gamgee-Took (ff.net) · 16 May 2004 · Chapter 1: For the Love of Hobbits

Have just been directed here by shirebound and I must admit that I am so glad that I have!! That was just so lovely! Little Faramir Took and the King...perfect!

Budgielover · 16 May 2004 · Chapter 2: Meetings

I missed this and had to follow Shirebound's link in her birthday greetings to you. I'm so glad I did. This contains all the charm and sweetness of the first chapter, with a little eerieness. I'm so glad that Frodo got to see a little of the future his sacrifice won for other people. Sweet little Faramir - I hope we see more of him.

EllyBaggins · 26 March 2004 · Chapter 2: Meetings

this story is fantastic! well done! it's very clever too, the way their two worlds combined...
