Oh My! Please tell me I won't have to wait too long for the rest of this story!!! I haven't read such an amusing tale in ages and I am chuckling so hard my cheeks are aching. I love what your doing to them all! I want to see so much more!! This better go on for ages to get the rythym right. I can't wait to see where you will head next with this. I love Thranduil being here, I wonder what his view of the first event was. What did the twins think? What have Arwen and the ladies got up their sleeves? How does Gimli fit in to this situation? What of the people and their views? Will Haldir et al attempt a rescue of the Prince? Will the children of Ithilien try their own escape attempt? How far will Aragorn allow this to go? personally three's not enough unless the last will involve a team effort... gads I wish I knew where you were heading with this! I am impressed. Good writing, good story line, good use of chapter breaks, good characterization. I wait with baited breath...oh to be a fly upon the wall when Leoglas and Aragorn have a quiet moment together after all of this. Legolas has to get even you do relaise this... Aragorn might be King but he can't win everything! Thank you, I'm so glad to read some true "fun" that feels "right" purrlin :) PS If your going to make this a tad angsty now ( which would make sense in a weird sort of way), please I pray don't lose your ability to show the lightness too. This is a grand tale and I cant wait to hear the rest!

Pervinca · 19 February 2004 · Chapter 10: The Horse Race

I never had any doubt about Elfwine winning the race. Now I *am* quite curious as to what dear Gimli has though up. Another wonderful chapter! It was almost worth the wait ;)

Grey Wonderer · 19 February 2004 · Chapter 10: The Horse Race

Leave it to Gimli to come up with something interesting.....can't wait to find out what he has planned. At least Faramir's having a good time in all of this. Love this story and was very glad to see more.

Hai · 18 February 2004 · Chapter 10: The Horse Race

I like that Faramir was so comfortable and still happy while Legolas demanded why his father was encouraging all of it! Oh, dear I bet Gimli has a wonderful challenge planned! Looking forward to more, thank you!

ha! I knew it! CAVES!!!! no...the elves won't like that at all! but MY POOR LEGOLAS!!!!!!!!!! (yes, I own him =) hehe...) the contest doesn't seem to be favouring the elves too much and neither are the spectators...Aragorn will be in real trouble when Legolas finally gets free... can't wait for the next contest, but it seems it'll be over soon unless we make it 4 out of 7! *~SuGaR~*

shirebound · 18 February 2004 · Chapter 10: The Horse Race

Such a fun story! I think Legolas is the only one not having a good time! And now... whatever is Gimli up to? (You might want to correct the spelling of 'mearas')

*Ducks head* I knew that there was something wrong! I'll fix that. And thanks!

ming eledhwen · 12 February 2004 · Chapter 9: Interludes Between Friends

you won't believe how much i cracked up laughing at this story :) i love it, and the way you made all the adults have a great sense of humour and wanting to join in is great. all the relationships are fantasticly characterised and established, and i can't wait for the next chapter! oh yeah, merry has to wear the pink ;)

FantasyFan · 8 February 2004 · Chapter 9: Interludes Between Friends

Congratualtions on getting accepted to college. It'll be an adventure! What on earth have Eowyn and Arwen gotten up to? Dressing Merry like a lass? Obviously Diamond is in on whatever it is as well. Arwen as a prankster to be feared sounds just right to me, but I can't for the life of me think of how Merry in drag fits into any scheme. I'll be looking forward to whatever you've got up your sleeve!

Pervinca · 7 February 2004 · Chapter 9: Interludes Between Friends

Good to hear that there will be another chapter soon! Well, I still have no idea of what Arwen has planned, but seeing as dressing Merry as a lass was the first step, I'm starting to worry. Strange people, those elves. Very strange indeed.

Mysterious Jedi · 7 February 2004 · Chapter 9: Interludes Between Friends

Excellent, humorous story.

Jebb · 7 February 2004 · Chapter 9: Interludes Between Friends

Thank goodness for the kindness of Faramir and just what are the ladies upto? Can't wait to find out

Antigone_Q · 7 February 2004 · Chapter 9: Interludes Between Friends

This was a clever, sweet story. I enjoyed reading it1

Hai · 7 February 2004 · Chapter 9: Interludes Between Friends

Oh, dear what did Gimli tell Theodwyn and will he be making more appearances? I'm looking forward to finding out what Merry is going to be doing in a dress! How kind of Faramir to bring a mattress for Legolas! Looking forward to more fun!

Lyta Padfoot · 6 February 2004 · Chapter 9: Interludes Between Friends

Merry should definately wear the pink dress. I love your Eomer!

daw the minstrel · 6 February 2004 · Chapter 9: Interludes Between Friends

Legolas is going to need to collect some debts when this is all over. People owe him! Imho, he has every right to be annoyed at the other adults.

lilu · 6 February 2004 · Chapter 8: Enter the Dwarf

Never fear, I have just updated! I'm really glad that you like it!

Rachel Stonebreaker · 1 February 2004 · Chapter 3: Arrivals and a Case of Slight Misfortune

Excellent addition of tension to the story. I thought this was going to be all fluff and fun.

Rachel Stonebreaker · 1 February 2004 · Chapter 2: The Ballroom

Oh, poor Legolas! He doesn't stand a chance does he?

*~SuGaR~* · 1 February 2004 · Chapter 8: Enter the Dwarf

was wondering where Gimli was in all this...he was nowhere to be found until now, while his best friend Legolas on the other hand had somehow gotten himself wrapped up in everything the children did!?!? loved the fought between Theodwyn and Elfwine, very cute! but poor Eldarion, having to choose between them, it would be like Zeus choosing between Hera, Athena and Aphrodite with the golden apple charade!! but of course Theodywn doesn't have any godly powers to use against Eldarion and Elfwine...poor Theodywn! love the story!! keep it coming!!!!! *~SuGaR~*

calenore · 30 January 2004 · Chapter 8: Enter the Dwarf

What's Arwen planning? It's a good thing that Theo won't always hate Eldarion, since I liked the little blurb you wrote about them on their wedding day.

Hai · 30 January 2004 · Chapter 8: Enter the Dwarf

Now Gimli is getting involved! What fun! I liked him saying he could handle hungry and irritable hobbits, but not little girls! I like that he is sure that the elf has something to do with it! lol, looking forward to more!

Jebb · 30 January 2004 · Chapter 8: Enter the Dwarf

Oh dear division in the camp even before the games begin it cannot be a good thing and Legolas well talk about sulky! It must be the children's influence. But Gimli is coming to t he rescue or probably not he will find the whol thing highly amusing no doubt and just what is Arwen planning can't wait to find out

Pervinca · 30 January 2004 · Chapter 8: Enter the Dwarf

I *knew* there was someone missing. I almost cheered when I saw the title of this chapter. I just know it's not going to be pretty now that Gimli has joined the fun. Why did Eldarion choose Elfwine? That's just not fair! Please continue soon :)

Grey Wonderer · 29 January 2004 · Chapter 8: Enter the Dwarf

I love Gimli, but whee did Merry disappear to? Hope they are both back in the next chapter. I think Gimli needs more fan fictions! Beside, Legolas needs his help.

daw the minstrel · 29 January 2004 · Chapter 8: Enter the Dwarf

Well, the children are being...childish. The Lord of the Flies seems to be replacing The Lord of the Rings. Poor Legolas, stuck in with them. He's actually luck to be able to claim that he can't participate.
