I finally get to review the wedding chapter! It was lovely! I'm glad Merry and Estella finally got hitched! Wonderful story!
Author's reply
Thanks so much! I thought I needed to reply to *all* of your reviews since they were all for different stories, plus you made my day! The wedding caused me a few troubles - Pearl Took said I could draw on some of her ideas for hobbit weddings, but I didn't want to copy her completely, and I had issues trying to do so! I'm pretty sure I managed to put an original spin on it (at least I hope so anyway!). Thanks so much for your lovely reviews! I appreciate every one :)

AWW!!! That was wonderful! Ah! The wedding! The hobbits! How beautiful! I'm so happy they've finally married! It was a great ending, though I'm a bit depressed that it's over... *sniff* Ah, well, as long as there's a promise of more stories, I'm contented.
The two Merry and Estella pics can be found on Deviant Art at http://bwynn.deviantart.com/ and are entitled "Conveniences" and "Sulking." I must also put in a good word for a close friend of mine, ChessaB, who draws the MOST adorable Merry... I've gotten her hooked on the couple as well, thanks to your initial inspiration. Thanks for the great read!

Very nice story, indeed! I loved the blessings and vows. So, you're going to give Pippin and Diamond a try, eh? Blessings to *you* on your endeavor! :-)

I loved the wedding. I also enjoyed the story and your Estella is very sweet and seems like she would be lots of fun. Perfect for Merry.Looking forward to your next story.
Author's reply
Thank you so much for reading! As I said in the A/N, much of the credit for the wedding needs to go to Pearl, but I did try to add my own little spin. I'm so glad she let me draw inspiration though - I would have hated to see what the wedding would have been like without her help!
I'm hoping to at least finish the Pippin and Sam/Pervinca story before I get started on the sequel to this one ("Magnificent"), but who knows what will happen, especially because I still have to write my entry for Marigold's Challenge #3! :)

I love how nervous they are, especially Merry as he is usually so calm and the one helping others through whatever is happening at the time. Your Pippin is a shameless flirt and I love that. Very cute! Can't wait for the wedding to begin.

Oh joy! The wedding approaches! I can't wait for it!
I also must add in a note of thanks. My love for hobbits had been sort of dwindling for the past few months, but it has been rekindled thanks to your wonderful stories! Many pictures have been drawn because of them, and I've even been able to pass on the love to a friend of mine! Yay!
Author's reply
Well, I'm glad that I've managed to save you from the pain of not loving the hobbits - but I can understand why you might have been starting to get that way. If you're a regular to ff.net, then you'll know thw amount of junk that gets posted. Fortunately, I find that things are very much better here at SOA!
I think I'm just as excited as you about the wedding! Haven't written it yet, but I will very soon. :)
(Btw, I would love to see the pictures you have drawn from this! Email me anytime you like bra_chan90@hotmail.com)

I love this. Enjoyed Merry coming to the realization that 'now is the time' for the wedding because frodo had left. Also love your Merry and Estella together.
Author's reply
Frodo leaving was always going to be the catalyst for Merry's decision - it just took me a while to get to that point! And thanks for letting me know that you like the the way I've written the characters. I recently received a bit of a nasty review (on ff.net) saying quite the opposite.

Oh, you're an angel for writing this! I've looked all over the net for Merry and Estella stories! They're so far and few in between, and it seems that when I finally do stumble across one, they're badly written. Not this story! Oh, you wrote it so well, and I'm just estatic over it. Merry is one of my favorite characters, and I love seeing him be loved! Thanks for such a good story, I can't wait for its continuation!
Author's reply
Thank you for your lovely review! I'm so glad that you're enjoying my little story. I share your feelings about the lack of good Merry/Estella stories, and that's probably part of the reason I decided to write my own. There are a few gems out there, but only a very few. But I suppose it's that way with a lot of the hobbit couples (except Pippin and Diamond, I've seen a lot of fantastic stories about them). Thank you again for reading, and I hope you will enjoy what I have in store for our little hobbit love-birds :)

“Oh, fine. I told Pervinca, but that’s all. I had to tell her. She and Everard are engaged now, and I didn’t want to miss the wedding. She begged to come along with us, you know.” - Pervinca
I like that; I've even depicted her as being an unofficial member of the 'gang'. The girl is full of spirit.

I'm in the process of actually writing that scene into another story. Plus, I plan on involving Pervinca in the Battle of Bywater (to an extent). Thanks for the review! :)

*applause*!!! Yeay!! They're kissing! He's still yet to go on the Journey--this is going to be interesting...
"Pippin helped himself to an ale. “We shall have to interrogate him in the morning, and find out everything that happened.” (Pervinca)
I have Pippin and Pervinca doing the same thing in my unposted M&E story. All right--you've talked me into it...I'll scrub it and see about setting it up--after yours is done. You seem to be having so much fun writing this...and you shan't have fun alone! We hobbit-holics need to stick together! Take care!

Author's reply
Fantastic! I had hoped you might eventually resurrect your story. It'll be interesting to see the direction you take (especially if Pervinca and Merimas are married or planning to). Yes, I am having a lot of fun writing this, but then, the hobbits are good for that! There's only a few more chapters to go of this one, then I have to start on the sequel (it won't be quite so happy, but I'll try to put in the amusing parts, like we *both* try to do!).

Alas! poor Fredegar! I think you have written his character well, and I'm becoming too fond of him. Lovely chapter...please keep going!
Author's reply
I always loved Fredegar. Not sure why, I just seem to like the random "minor" characters. Plus, he never seems to get enough roles in stories! There isn't too many more chapters to go in this story, but I do already have a sequel planned for it!

Oh this seems like an interesting story so far, loved Frodo's appearance. The hobbits behave very much like the family members and friends that they are, amazing how you can pack that much warmth in one chapter. Off to read other chapters now.
Author's reply
Thanks for the review! I don't think I could ever write a story where any of the hobbits were really angry with one another. There's so much love between them, it would be too hard to write them not getting along! Glad yo appreciated Frodo. I've tried not to bash him (I've seen far too many stories needlessly bash a character because the author didn't like him/her). Once again, thanks for reviewing!

Fredegar whistled. “I’d hate to be the hobbit that had to clean that. Far too high.”
ROTFL...I do the same thing when I go to the store. Before I make my purchase I determing how difficult it will be to clean...
Yeah, you that Pervinca lass *loves* to play cupid! You're doing quite well with Merry and Estella--I like her! A nice little tomboy lass once, but no more. Hey, do you think you can match me up with...nah--forget it! Take care.

Darn! Celandine is a saucy little lass, isn't she? And Pippin's pimpin' it? Holy moly! LoL...let's see if I can keep this straight: Everard is betrothed to Pervinca...Pimpernel is smitten with Berilac...Freddie's running from Melilot...Pippin is in lust with Celandine--thinking he's gonna get more time in the cornfield with her, Merry is in love with Stella (of course), and last, but not least, Frodo is alone with his ring? (wanted to keep this review "G" rated). Very interesting...I shall return for more... Take care!

This is soooo good! I'm savoring every morsel...when you wrote Pippin in the fields with Celandine--I had to laugh. I paired him up with her in my Merry/Estella story as well...though they rather behaved themselves; just a *very* passionate kiss, but no more than that. Except I did write him...well--I'll have to email you on this one. On to the next...

I was kind of wary of this story after reading the first chapter, but I have -really- gotten into it now!!! The last three chapters have been so intriguing especially this last one! It's interesting how you made Diamond apart of the story now...very clever how you did it too. I cannot wait to see what happens next!
Author's reply
If you don't mind me asking, what about the first chapter made you wary? I'll see what I can do to fix it up! But I will agree that I (personally) prefer these later chapters. And I am glad you liked the way I worked Diamond into it. I was a little hesitant about it, but the more I thought about it, the more I thought it made sense. Thank you for reading and reviewing!

I am so glad that Fatty made it into your story too. He's getting his share of the fictions this month at least. I like him and I do think he gets over-looked. I am also glad that he plans to explain things to Estella for poor Merry. This is a very enjoyable story!
Author's reply
Ah, Master Fredegar has always been a favourite of mine (I always like the small, seemingly "insignificant" characters like Fatty, Beregond and Quickbeam). And you're right, he does get over-looked a lot! You should be pleased to know that he'll have a large role in some of the up-coming chapters. Ok, so it just took Merry a bit longer to get caught in his bedroom with a lass. LOL You surprised me as I thought it was coming earlier and when it didn't I put it out of my mind! Nice work! I only hope that someone with half a brain finds them instead of someone who makes it a very big deal.....

I always thought of Merry having more self-control than his Tookish cousin. After all, Pippin has three older sisters! I'm glad you're enjoying the story!
