As I am still reading "The Road Less Traveled", I can see LOTS of similarities which I think is so cool. Only you, me, and perhaps a couple others see Pippin and Merry--and hobbits in general--in the same light. I'd say we come very close, and yet have our own uniqueness. Pippinfan
