Lovely chapter. it's nice to see Arwen getting an ally and friend in Eowyn. She certainly needs her at the moment. Enjoying this very much. Eokat.

I am not altogether sure I trust the Haradrim. If I were Aragorn, I'd be careful indeed. But Eowyn is so good to Arwen. She's just what Arwen needs. It must be hard for the queen to find someone to talk to as an equal.

This is a great story, not enough Aragorn and Arwin stories out there, and I have loved every chapter of this one A very good idea to put together a book on advice for mothers to be. can't wait to see what happens on this trip. And just how big was Aragorn when he was born? looking forward to more

Poor Arwen she looks to be in for a grim birthing if the size of Aragorn is anything to go by. Another good chapter though. I think you will have a lot of people on tenterhooks before you finish this.

I'm enjoying this very much so far. I especially liked the idea of publishing the advice letters - very convincing touch.
daw the minstrel · 10 February 2004 · Chapter 3: Nova! Nova!
My sympathies are with Arwen in the library. My husband always said that my first reaction to any new experience was to look it up in a book. The stuff about the big baby etc. is a little scary. I like tall, broad Aragorn, but poor Arwen!
daw the minstrel · 10 February 2004 · Chapter 2: In This Rose Contained
I wonder how much of an Elf Arwen was at this point. She would have been more than three-quarters Elf, right? But was she changed when she bound herself to Aragorn? And what would be the effect of a fully human father (Elros's blood must have been pretty diluted by then) on the child she was carrying? And how would that affect the pregnancy? All that aside, I like these female characters you are creating.
eokat · 4 February 2004 · Chapter 2: In This Rose Contained
Poor Arwen, she has got it bad. Firstborn and secondborn pregnancy symptoms rolled into one. It's bad enough just having the 'normal' symptoms{talking from personal experience]. Hope she feels better next chapter, although I have a feeling that this problem is only the beginning.

An intriguing start - just thought I'd let you know that I'm tuning in.
daw the minstrel · 29 January 2004 · Chapter 1: A Springtime Passion
This story raises a good question. How difficult would Arwen's pregnancies have been? There would have been no way to predict. And I waited three months before telling outsiders I was pregnant too. Miscarriages are just too common before then even in normal circumstances.

Very promising, looking forward to reading further chapters.

That's an interesting start. I'm wondering what it is Arwen is troubled by and what's going to happen. I love your idea of exploring the hybrid problem as well - it's something I've thought about before.
