And Théoden sees none of them again. Marked especially with Legolas and Aragorn here. And yet he is not alone, either in life, fortunately, or death, unfortunately.

Wowie. Great job!! *high fives* Very, very well done. That was a great story. Keep up the really good writing, I really liked it. I loved how Legolas could sense Elrond's presence. *grin* That was so cool! I also loved Legolas' little farewell to Merry. *sniff* That was great. Keep it up!! ~Amanalda

Very vivid gap filler. If you got any more stories to tell, I'll be glad to read them!

My favorite line is "Don't hurt him too much"! But all in all, this is a nice movie gapfiller. The characters are well handled and you give a real sense of this moment of life in this encampment. Well done!

hi there, just wanted to say how much i liked this story, a very good way to explain how Legolas and Gimli knew where Aragorn was off to. Liked how Gilmi tryed to stall him.

My first thought after I saw the scene was "how did they know he was leaving?" A seed was planted...

Thanks for writing this, it cleared up a lot of questions and little tings that the film didn't answer, such as, How did Theoden know that Aragorn had to leave?, where was Merry? How did the guys find out?, etc. Thanks for posting it!

I guess Peter Jackson had more important things to worry about. LOL Thanks for reading!
