Dear author!
I wanted to thank you with all my heart for your incredible work even though it's not finished and it seems (by the dates of last reviews) will not be completed ever(
The story is so superb I couldn't do anything but read in three days without leaving my eyes off the computer. And you really allow the reader to lose in the world and it's characters.
So thank you again)
ps. It still will be fabulously generous of you if you will reconsider and finish the story - there's not a lot good of them about this characters and they are deserve a happy ending above all I think)

Dear author,
I´m still faithfully (re)reading your story, ever once in a blue moon checking if you have uploaded a new chapter. Is there a chance for an update any time soon or should I get myself a life?
Yours,

Hello SoundofHorns! I just wished to tell, that I absolutely love this wonderful story. I love Faramir and Eowyn, as well… But a problem is that I’m Russian. And there aren’t any good fanfiction about this pair in Russian. (For any reason my countrymen prefer to write LOTR slash.) Therefore, I was so happy, when have found “All for her”! It is charming, light, absolutely remarkable story, and I have grown fond of Faramir even more)) (yeah, like it is possible). Thank you!
From Russia with love)
P.S. It is madly interesting to know, what awaits my favorite couple!

Like Faithful_Reader, I hope you haven't abandoned this wonderful story. I keeping hoping you'll come back to it.
Author's reply
Well, I've never forgotten All for Her, I can assure you I think about it nearly every day. I stopped writing this story for probably one of the oldest reasons around: I found myself a boyfriend and got myself distracted.
I've been busy ever since. My boyfriend and I met online and in the two years I've been fairly dormant in writing I've managed to save money and get myself transferred to a university near where he lives, in St. John's, Newfoundland. Quite a move from Tennessee!
Anyway, where I'm going with this is that I've not forgotten this story, but as I don't have a computer still and I'm very deeply involved in trying to finish school and live on my own in a foreign country, I'm not sure when I'll next be able to write on it.
I do have a favor to ask if anyone feels up to it. Since I don't think I'm the best judge, would anyone of you readers send me what they think is the best chapter of this story? I'm interested in entering a fiction-writing course and to enter I have to submit a work of writing.
As always, thanks to everyone who read this story and who commented on it. I really miss writing on it and I've not forgotten at all what I wished to do with it, I've simply had less and less opportunities to write.

Hi, it´s March 2007 but there are still no updates- neither revised chapters nor newly written ones. I hope it´s only RL that insists on taking up your time, not that you have abandoned this story entirely...

Hi SoundofHorns!
Just spent the weekend reading your lovely story and thoroughly enjoyed it! I felt it was well written and thoughtfully constructed.
Loved the Rohirric. Adds such a special dimension to your story. Looking forward to more chapters. Keen to see how both storylines develop!
Kind regards
Santoori

So sorry for not replying sooner. I've been terribly busy with school. I'm not sure when I'll get to finish this story. I'm involved in trying to transfer schools. I can only assure you that I haven't forgotten it.

Hello dear author!
Any news on updates? I came over the site to check thinking that perhaps the story was being left unended. Then I saw your note from May. Any word on when we can expect a new chapter?

Author's reply
Oh, but it is HOT, isn't it?
Well, May's note might have been premature. I've started on an update, but family matters and an issue with school are complicating things. I do think about writing a lot, unfortunately that's what's mostly done so far: just thinking about it. I do promise, as I'm sure I've done before, to work on it. I *will* finish this story, even if it takes much longer than I've wanted.
Thank you for not forgetting it.

Hooray! At last a new chapter. I confess I'd almost given up and deleted the link from my favorites list but you've update. :) I was glad to read the note at the end and I'm sorry to hear you've been having writers block. It's Ok I've read that Tolkien had it too right after Balin's tomb so don't despair.
I'm very much looking forward to the next part when you do get it written especially with the prophesized danger lurking. I'm also waiting for the wedding when it arrives. This chapter was a lovely interlude and I enjoyed the companionship between Eomer and Faramir.

An update! an update! an update! *does dance of celebration*
I liked it, for all that it was short. Eomer is getting over himself, which is sort of an "at -bloody- last!" development.
As another note, I really like the rewrites of the earlier chapters, so if you're really feeling blocked as to plot progression, you could always spend more time on the earlier stuff..... :D I'm just nosing around for more updates, of course... :D
Cheers,
Chibi-Kaz

Oh my god! You're killing me! I saw that you had updated and nearly cried. Don't you dare keep us waiting that long again! I expect to see either chapter 76 or 8 posted withing the next few weeks (within the next few days and I'll canonize you). I certainly understand your not wanting to put out inferior work, but I'm begging you to keep working and get us out of suspense. Pleeeeeeeease! If you love us at all, you'll give us what we want. Update! ;) Can you tell I like your story? Have fun writing.

Well-written as always. Faramir is becoming just a bit too comfy in the Mark. And Eowyn seems to want her "mannered prince" more than the sweetly oafish drunken wannabe-Eorling.
<> - nice foreshadowing of the danger you've hinted at before. The problem is, I'm growing tired of the hints and want to see some danger, if it is going to actually occur in the course of the story.
It's becoming harder and harder for me to see this story as a continuing narrative; because of the changes (though they improved the tale) to the early chapters and the length of time between updates. I wish you wouldn't update until you're at the point, in terms of inspiration and time, where you can follow one chapter with another within four or five weeks. The story doesn't flow smoothly for me anymore; though I'm sure it will if it is ever finished.
I hope you will update again fairly soon. I enjoy the story and want to see it advance and eventually finish.

I'm terribly involved in the story so far. I love it. Is there any way to get to Chapters 8-38? I can't stand the thought of missing so much as to pick up at 39 and I have already finished Chapter 7.

My reviews have been short -- but truthfully -- I rarely even leave reviews.
There are loads and loads of fanfic writers, but dear, you stand out from the crowd. What makes you stand out?
1) You've discovered your voice. If I had three samples of writing in front of me -- one of them yours -- I'd be able to pick yours out easily.
2) Whether consciously or unconsciously, you adhere to the secret of the great story. Character development is Plot. The choices a character makes determines the plot.
3) Foreshadowing and careful attention to detail.
4) The writer must know the hearts, minds and souls of the characters.
Great storytellers employ all of these things and you are a GREAT STORYTELLER swimming in a sea of mediocre and lazy storytellers.
So SoundofHorns, I admit to you that I might be a lazy reviewer but I'm not a lazy reader. I've appreciated every word you've written. Keep writing. There's an audience starving for this level of writing.

This is without a doubt the best work I have ever read! This coming from someone who is very critical of what she reads, and who often goes over and over and over the things she liked best. Needless to say I've reread the chapters you posted over and over (more than seven times, actually, even when I was in the middle of exams and work combined! Even if it was three in the morning!!!)
I can't really say what kept me from reviewing untill now; maybe the fact that I originally wanted to review each and every chapter - but everytime I began reading I got caught up in what was written and just went on to the next chapter eagerly, without taking the time to press the review link - apparently I'm not that committed to my decisions, after all :)
But I figured I just have to review, because there are few other works that I've lost myself in with such delight and curiosity and admiration.
I think each of the characters' change of heart was just brilliantly done! Every time I read this I went on searching for defining moments that would mark such delicate and subtle psychological changes - but I've found little obvious ones, all the more praise to the writer! And speaking of psychology - the thinking patterns and motivations that you found for every character simply blew me away! There was such wonderful logic behind every thought and feeling that the characters' every word rang true. Just wonderful! And, of course, the very style of the story, the use of the words themselves, and the way in which they flowed were lovely! The only tiny, little smidgen of a non-positive thing I ever come across was the abrupt change of the tone of voice used in the story from the revised chapters to the older ones - but since you probably already thought of taking care of that it might as well need no mentioning.
Overall, and in not so many words, I loved every single bit of it! I can't thank you enough for sharing this! And, obviously, I can't stop myself from begging for more :)
All the best!
Author's reply
Thank you very much. I've been agonizing over the last chapters and trying very hard to get the feel of the characters correct. I apologize for the wait, but soon I will be able to write more.
Thank you again for your review, you've made my week!
