· Chapter 10: Questions
I appreciate that Eomer is the strong, silent type, but really some things are much better dealt with by being brought out in the open. He should talk to her.
Before that though, I loved the scene in the library. They were so obviously in love.
Author's reply
Heh, he should have talked with her then... as we see in the next chapter, he lets a little too much time pass before he speaks with her. But I did enjoy writing the scene in the library. When they're not really mad at each other they're terribly fun to write.

I´m a hopeless romantic, that´s for sure:) Is there any hope for yet
another chapter?
Author's reply
Oh, there's hope for many more. We're not done with these two love-birds yet.

Well, that was worth the wait...It was full of humor and quite touching. Faramir, riddles, and a lute....such a scene was painted well. The players were true to form and the kiss was "breathless".

So very much like the bard, well done. Please continue to write . The image of Lothiriel drench and covered with mud must have been a sight. How humbling? Eomer, was exceptionally kind and "strange". Mina sedth, Hisie Lome

Yay! I count this as progress. At least Lothiriel is clear on what she wants. We'll see how Eomer does.

Melyanna, that was a rush. All that emotion ready to erupt to the surface. And the love for her shone through her wet and muddy state. Sigh. I wonder if Faramir and Eowyn knew that Lothiriel was listening outside their room? Looking forward to the next soon. Soon please. Eokat.

Oh yes, what a chapter. I love Eomer talking to his horse, and at last he realises the truth. Looking forward to the next. And poor Legolas, so naive and nearly blowing it.

· Chapter 7: The Course of True Love
Oh, dear. Poor Eomer. I guess he'll be thankful in the end. I like how Gimli caught on to the matchmaking right away, since I've always suspected the Dwarf was a closet romantic (as opposed to silly unwordly Legolas, lol).

Well who knew a horse could be so smart? Poor Eomer. They're all conspiring against him. I suppose it's for his own good though. It's funny that Gimli caught on while Legolas was naively wandering along. LOL.

So far, so good. I like the characterization and the plot development. Good pacing. I can honestly belive Eomer being more angry with a slight to his horse, than to his person.

· Chapter 6: An Ill-Fated Ride
This was entertaining. "She insulted my horse!" says Eomer. Plainly this is an offense of the first order. And Lothiriel seems to understand. I think she's on her way toward becoming a woman of Rohan!

· Chapter 6: An Ill-Fated Ride
Another lovely chapter. I think I noticed a comparison when out riding, the conversation started the same as in P&P when Darcy and Eliza are dancing at Netherfield Hall. You did say it would turn pear shaped for a while. Here's to the next hope, hope they get a little closer. Had to smile at the horse, turning away from Lothiriel, only to be tempted with sweet treats.

· Chapter 5: The Matchmakers
HI, I have already reviewed this on FF.N but the plus side of this superb site is that I can ask a direct question and the wherewithal to answer is just the touch of a button. What did the phrase, "Nay, Lady, but it is deformed, and the glassmaker must mold it anew" mean exactly? I would judge it to be a sexual reference, due to the reaction of the others present. Please put my numb brain out of its misery. Still a superb story, am loving it more and more. Eokat.
Author's reply
LOL! Er, no, not sexual at all. I don't know how familiar you are with glassblowing--if you haven't gotten a chance to watch that process, I suggest you do sometime. It's fascinating. Anyway, glass is heated to really, really high temperatures when it's being molded. It's actually quite pliable then, but if you were to touch it, not only would you get a nasty burn, you'd mess it up too. Then the glassblower would have to start over again. Éomer's comment was actually a rebuke or an insult--when Lothíriel is angry, she makes these comments rather unflattering comments, and it's not becoming at all. That's what he meant by it, that she ruins her beauty by saying hurtful things. Hope that makes more sense. :)

· Chapter 5: The Matchmakers
So the game really is afoot! I liked the way Aragorn wanted to hold the baby. He's getting ready to be a father himself. And the repartee between Eomer and Lothiriel was just suggestive enough to raise some heat but not enough to be vulgar. The conspiracy of everyone against them is highly entertaining.
Author's reply
Heehee, one of my favorite scenes in Much Ado is the one where Don Pedro suggests the matchmaking scheme--the scene from which this story's title comes, actually. And yes, Aragorn's ready for a baby of his own! I actually have another little vignette here that touches on that briefly. It's called "That He Might Be Free", and while it's primarily about Faramir and his newborn son, Aragorn shows up and is simply scrumptious. ;)

· Chapter 4: The Newest Arrival
What a sweet moment the birth of a baby is. I remember when my son was born. I was lying in the delivery room and suddenly I heard a baby cry and I thought "What fool brought a baby into the hospital?" and then I realized it was me!
Faramir and Eowyn are so comfortable together compared to the dense Lothiriel and Eomer. They seem to have glimmers of what they feel but they can't accept it.
Author's reply
*sigh* Babies are such fun. As to the difference between Faramir and Éowyn and Lothíriel and Éomer, I suppose it's because they're well beyond the love crisis point. ;)
