Goodness, I knew this seemed familiar. It looks like I read it last time I had a good Internet connection. And I did like it, it was quite funny, as I remember.

I've enjoyed all of your writing that I've read so far, and this seems like it will also be entertaining. One little thing though: the consort of Galadriel of Lorien? Now it's entirely possible that there is a meaning of "consort" that I'm not familiar with, but I thought that a consort was the spouse of a ruler? So the consort of Galadriel would be Celeborn (although since I'm pretty sure Celeborn rules Lothlorien as much as Galadriel, I don't think I'd call him a consort, but maybe you disagree, I know some people seem to). Maybe you want a different word here? Just a suggestion, if you don't like it ignore me.

*winces* Ah yes, one of those things I should change. I wrote it two years ago now and it's a bit dodgy. I might have meant escort. But I was sure if began with a c... hmmm. Maybe I meant cohort. I'll change it! Thanks! :)

I really love this story! It's absolutely hilarious. Please write more!
Bodkin · 4 September 2004 · Chapter 29: One Moonlit Night
'Nobody had any trouble as identifying them as Lady Galadriel and Lord Celeborn, despite their attire. They were not wearing very much.' How wicked. And I feel Galadriel will cope with the incident so much better than Celeborn. Poor Celebrian, trying to have a romance in the middle of all this!
Bodkin · 28 August 2004 · Chapter 28: High Kings and Horse Chestnuts
This is such fun - all those elegant smooth elves falling over themselves and putting horse chestnuts down each other's backs. Poor Celebrian, growing up with her perfect mother and protective father. Although funnily, I feel quite sorry for Haldir, who is being used quite ruthlessly by Celeborn. Love it.

I was screaming with laughter while reading this chapter. I wonder what the neighbours might think of me now. I especially liked the part about the "poor, dead duck". What an intelligent remark. Could have been me as well.
Elemmíre · 23 August 2004 · Chapter 25: Soot and Pouncing
>>Bowing her head and glancing up through her lowered lashes, she spoke solemnly. "I am most sorry for your loss." Ahhh...I'm trying to pretend I'm just reading boring old news, and you keep making me laugh!

>>and Glorfindel had finished choking on his laughter O, this is me right now!
Bodkin · 16 August 2004 · Chapter 5: What are friends for?
"She is a. . ." Elrond paused as he searched for an adjective. Something bland and un-incriminating. "A good ambassador for her people." Of course she is, Elrond. "They behaved like little elflings trying to win a maiden's favour," Celeborn splashed water on his face. The silence from his wife made him whirl around aghast. "You do not think. . ." Yes, she does think. . . Oh, this was amusing.

Thanks! If you're interested I have another... about 22 chapters I think on ff.net and my personal website. (I'm dragonconfused on ff.net). Current rate up updating is rather slow though because I'm at college and drowning in work! Thanks so much for taking the time to review. (Like the screen name by the way. Clever.)
