Very nice! I liked the unusual viewpoint. There certainly aren't too many stories told from the perspective of an ent. I think you captured how an ent would think very well. Well done.

Ah, this is one of those fics that feel *right*: a peek into the past alluded to by Treebeard and thoughtfully imagined by you. I particularly liked the very last line. You have a lovely, descriptive touch to your writing -- just right for this kind of fic.

This is one of the most creative and unique ideas I've read. And what exquisite writing! What a perfect rendering of the compulsion of the Elves to awaken and communicate with all beings, and of the Ents, ready to receive such a precious gift.
