Oh--so lovely and hearwrenching. Poor Merry--no one can ever *really* tell you what war is like. I'm *so* glad you wrote this; few fanficcers deal with what the aftermath of war is like for the participants. In fact, I think this calls for a sequel. Brava!

This was a moving and emotional story that I really enjoyed! It is not many who have ventured writing about hobbits and hate, but this was a very good way of doing so. I hope you continue it and write about how Pip might help Merry get out of his misery. Anso
