lovely story~ i really like Pippin being comforted. :D i really liked this line: "What a dull and cheerless place would Middle-earth be without the Tooks running about meddling with other people's plans. And bless the whole clan, you always seem to come out on top." aww indeed~! Pippin is so cool and his whole ancestry of Tooks. lol great story...always wanted to have some Pippin comfort.~ =)

I loved the characterizations in this. Pippin and Gandalf both come really alive. And the idea that Gandalf's history with Tooks should have made him wary is entertaining. I also thought the first person POV was very well handled.
