· Chapter 40: Brief Moments of Repose
Loved the first scene between Aragorn and Èomer. Poor Aragorn, he's gone through hell and back. Who'd ever have thought of the King of Gondor become a slave!
It was good and refreshing to have Vlohiri back in the story. I hope he's going to play a bigger part. He's such a clever boy and could truly be of use. As would be Lomac.
Please, update asap!

· Chapter 38: Preparations
So they are off to Gonder, even though neither king is up to it. Lothiriel did put up a good fight to keep Eomer at home. Still hopeing a spare lighting bolt hits Harishdane, I suppose that would be to quick for her though.

· Chapter 37: Back to Edoras
Wow, I'm absolutely amazed! The story runs on and on so smoothly and with so many turns and twists, it's plainly wonderful to read.
In this chapter I especially loved the reunion between Aragorn and Arwen. It was heart-breaking without being sappy. Additionally it was good to see that even a king's power has limits. You don't portray Aragorn like a superhuman being, but still like a man (though his skills are extraordinary).

· Chapter 37: Back to Edoras
Good chapter, I am really enjoying this story. Like the reunion of the two knigs with their wives, too bad they have to leave so soon. Poor Aragorn is still not healing. whatever did they do to him.

· Chapter 35: A Lecture on Easterling Culture
I've read most of the story. Your presentation of the Easterling culture is intriguing; but, to be honest, I would have preferred a bit less of it. After many chapters, I still have trouble distinguishing the Easterling priestesses and tribes. I did like the idea that Aragorn's proposed freedom for the conquered Easterling group would condemn them to servitude; it highlights the differences between disparate cultures.
Ithilien under attack? Does that mean there will be some Faramir action? Hopefully so!

· Chapter 30: The High Priestess' Decision
Glad to find the story here, too, and in better reading quality.
This chapter was as amazing as the others, really. The high priestess is another very good addition to the long list of OCs, which are outstanding in quality. Gishvane is finally a match for Harishdane, who seemed unrivalled in her leadership. Now even she has to bow. Yeah! Though, as twisted as this story is, I wonder if Gishvane might not get killed by Harishdane in some moment of rage. Wouldn't want that!
As before, update ASAP!

· Chapter 25: Aftermath
very good chapter and very good story, I have enjoyed each and every chapter.
Can not help but wonder what was used on Aragorn, and what will happen to him. Also can not but hope that a spare lighting bolt would strike Harishdane. But will settle for Eomer and his men.
looking forward to more
Author's reply
Hi grumpy,
well, we are half through the story, and, no, I think there will be no lightning ahead... . Harishdane was too much fun to create to be killed by nature's force.
Thanks for leaving your comment.

· Chapter 24: The Marking
I'm sorry I don't have time for a longer review, but I just wanted to say: *Excellent* build up of tension in the scenes of the ceremony. I found myself caught up in the whirlwind of actions and emotions, and Aragorn's fear was palpable. Not letting us know what the ritual was all about really hightened the suspense--and it's still working. I'm still anxious to find out what after-affects the ceremony will have.
Good stuff!

· Chapter 20: Into the Trap
I enjoyed this chapter very much. The story seems to pick up speed. Since reading "castle" I have always been a silent fan of your writing, especially the description of the characters/relationships aragorn/vlohiril/hilberon. I Hope you keep going.

Mogli,
thank you very much for your encouraging review. And I appreciate that you like the relationships between Aragorn and the OCs. It's always a pleasure to create a new character... And, yes, the story will go on and even gain on speed with the next chapters.

Though I left no review yet I follow the story, and I really like it. It's not only how you stay true to the CC, but the more I like the OC you created.
Hilberon is just lovable...

· Chapter 11: Torn
I think this is the best chapter yet. Aragorn's hard decision is very believable, and Faramir will be a good captain if need occurs.
It's good to see Vlohiri again, too, after his bravery in the other story.
And my favorite scene is Aragorn and Arwen and how she convinced him to take her with him.

Brillantly written jut like the last chapter. I would have left a review at Fanfiction.net but the site is acting up. I absolutely love your writing technique and characterization. Lothiriel and Eomer are my favourite characters and you're simply makiing them come to life.
